A: These are totally manual extension tubes. Any lens you use them with must have manual focus and manual aperture control. If the lens does not have an aperture ring that you can adjust with your fingers (not the camera dial) you will not have any control of exposure other than shutter speed. No aperture control means not control of DOF which makes them useless. I am not a Canon shooter but I don't believe that lens has any manual aperture capability.

This DLC works as an adapter but I only use manual focus on my adapted lenses because this just does not want to work properly for autofocus. If you can not afford the Metabones I and are just manual focusing I would get the less expensive Dumb adapter .
