Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. What would you need to mount the ronin M in the upright position onto this?

A: You can hang the Ronin by attaching the CineMilled DJI Ronin M Quick Plate to the bottom of the crane's camera mounting plate.

Q: 2. Does it work with Peak Design Tripod? It's an Arca-type head, but the length might not be compatible.

A: Depending on which model is acquired please review the following tripod plates that will adapt to most peak design tripods. Quick Release Plates compatible with the Peak Design tripods https://bhpho.to/3DuqL7G

Q: 3. Does it have auto-tilt capability?

A: The Kessler Crane Pocket Jib Traveler has auto-level but not auto tilt. Since Kessler cranes do not offer auto-tilt, they instead utilize electronic pan and tilt heads.

Q: 4. will this work on a nikon 70-200 f2.8ED and the Arca swiss P0?

A: Yes it can. It has the 1/4-20" thread and is Arca compatible.

Q: 5. THIS TIRE IS 6" DIAMETER, WHAT IS THE WIDTH?

A: The dimensions of the Kessler Crane 6" All-Terrain Wheels for K-Pod are 8.5"x6"x3".

Q: 6. Can you please tell me, is it possible to clamp a Super Clamp to the tripod legs? (For example: The Manfrotto 035RL which has a jaw opening of 2.1"). In advance, thank you for your help with this.

A: Yes that is possible. We even recommend this Impact Super Clamp with Ratchet Handle, B&H # IMCC106R, which also has a 2.1" opening. https://bhpho.to/2cFjAwj

Q: 7. does this crane need a specific kind of tripod?

A: The base of the Pocket Jib has a 3/8 -16 screw hole so it will mount to the base of any standard tripod leg. You will just want to make sure the tripod you use is rated to support the total payload.

Q: 8. Is this 100% Arca compatible?

A: Yes it is. It works perfectly with the Kessler crane Kwik release receiver.

Q: 9. Is this compatible with Benro S6 head/ manfrotto 501PL?

A: Sorry, no. This is made to the Arca Swiss type plate standard which is unlike the Manfrotto 501PL standard.

Q: 10. Will this fit on a Manfrotto head that uses 501PL quick release plate?

A: No it will not. This plate is not wide enough and to my knowledge will only work with its matching Kessler receiver. For example, I use one that is mounted on my slider, and I have a Kwik Short Camera Plate, that I can attach to the bottom of a small fluid head. The Kessler receiver is mounted to a 100mm half-ball, that sits in my 100mm tripod bowl. Then I can switch between a slider and fluid head on one tripod without removing and switching plates.

I have just gotten a SB-700 flash which has many great features which are good for basic point-and-shoot photography and also much more complicated lighting setups. I wanted a DVD to explain both the basic and advanced uses of my new flash. With about two hours of material, this DVD does a great job of going through both basic and advanced uses of the flash. Although the DVD is specifically targeted at how to use the SB-700 flash, it does a great job of explaining many techniques and principles of flash photography, in general. I found the DVD to be a great investment to help me get a better understanding of the flash, how to use it and what directions I can grow into in the future as my lighting needs change. The only downside of this DVD is that it may make you want to spend more money on flash and lighting equipment.
