Q: 1. Can additional shoe mounts be added?

A: Yes you could rig it to fit, however I found that it is wiser to purchase the three or four mount bracket. The brackets are designed to hold a particular amount of weight. they also have a designed spacing to insurance balance and stability. You alter this if you change the configuration with out adding extra mounting space and material. I tried to do that, it worked, but it was not as sturdy. I decided not to risk one or two $300 plus flash units, or video lights. The cost for a greater capacity bracket is not that much. (cheaper than replacing your flash units if they fall)

Q: 2. It's not clear to me if this comes with two brackets so I can mount two speed lights on it or not. Can anybody help me with that?

A: It comes with 1 bracket to hold only 1 speed light and a remote. If you wish to have 2 speed lights you need to order an extra bracket. Works great with my Photoflex Lite Dome soft box.

Q: 3. Is it possible to use the SNA600a to boost the range of the sony uwp with sma mod?

A: In theory, yes, the Lectrosonics SNA600a Adjustable Dipole Antenna could be adapted for use with an SMA connection on a third party wireless receiver such as those from Sony's UWP line.

Q: 4. How much weight does this pole hold? I am looking to attach a super clamp and a 5D Mark II.

A: It can hold a fair-bit of weight, but because it's designed to hold seamless paper or a cloth backdrop there's quite a bit of deflexion in the pole i.e. it's not very steady. In a pinch, it's probably fine. There are better ways to hold a camera overhead. Personally, I'd use speedrail. I've done 12' spans with speed rail. Avenger and Matthews both make clamps to attach speedrail to stands and then a super clamp works fine to attach a camera and/or lights.

Q: 5. Wondering if this bracket could handle a couple of B1 ones on it using a hot shoe adapter?

A: Hello Kelly,i am wondering if with B1 you mean the Pro Photo B1. Given they have 500W I am not sure why you would want to bundle them together? If you meant the A1 - yes this would definitely work. the adaptor is well build. but for 2 studio flashes i would probably rather use 2 tripods.

A: Yes, the bracket is strong enough to hold two Godox AD360 flashes. Note you need to attach the battery to the stand and not the bracket.

A: The cold shoes are removable.

A: Yes, without any concerns. This bracket is very sturdy. I commonly mount my largest flashes (Sony f60m) on top of Odin receivers then both on this bracket. I think any arm you'd use to hold the bracket would give out before the bracket itself.

A: This antenna is compatible with both of your receivers. You probably need two of them for best results.

Q: 10. Will this work for the medium silverdome nxt? Or is that only for hotlights?
