The Triad-Orbit IO-Vector IO-Equipped Stereo Utility Bar takes the traditional stereo bar to a new dimension. IO-Vector provides four points of connectivity for 3D positioning of creative, medical, and industrial devices. Integrating Micro adapters and IO-A telescoping boom arms (all available separately) greatly expands the capabilities of IO-Vector including innovative left/right stereo imaging, Decca tree, and 3D video applications. Add Micro M2 orbital adapters (available separately) to the IO-Vector to expand the positioning options for microphones and cameras, and to enhance your Triad-Orbit stand system's range of motion and positioning. The IO-Vector is bundled with IO-R38 quick-change coupler.

A: The AJA Io 4K Plus can work with standard video formats in 4k or HD. Please note that the AJA Io 4K Plus will only accept one 4k input or four HD inputs. Also the AJA Io 4K Plus will not accept RAW encoded video signals.

A: NO it can NOT.

A: The AJA Io X3 Professional Video I/O for Thunderbolt 3's four bidirectional BNC connectors can be configured in a variety of ways via the AJA Control Panel, including: • Two HD/SD inputs (SDI 1 and SDI 2) and two outputs (SDI 3 and SDI 4) • Four HD/SD inputs (SDI 1, SDI 2, SDI 3, SDI 4) Unfortunately 4 inputs and 1 output is not possible by defualt, but some third-party applications (examples: OBS Studio, Wirecast, Vmix) may support other input/output configurations.

A: This device does process the video signal.

Q: 9. Hello How many AJA Io 4K Plus units can be cascaded to Thunderbolt 3? Can HDMI input scaller? That is, whatever the laptop outputs on HDMI (atypical resolutions) can be converted to 1080p at capture? Thanks!

A: The AJA Io4K Plus via EDID will negotiate to whatever the highest broadcast video format (resolution) the source supports. If the computer HDMI out supports 4K, then it will be configured as 4K. Also, The AJA driver does support multiple units on one computer. Two units shouldn't be a problem, the restriction is the data bandwidth of Thunderbolt which is 40Gb/s.

Q: 10. Just to clear, when I open vMix I can see all 4 SDI inputs of this Aja as 4 SEPARATE INPUTS. In other words, does software read the TB3 as a 4 lane I/O (I plug in 4 SDI sources and I can select to add those 4 sources independently in vMix)?

A: Yes that is correct. VMix will recognize 4 independent sources from the AJA IO 4K plus.

As a longtime Orbit Optical Trackball fan, I was disappointed to realize my brand new Orbit causes both my 2009 and 2015 MBPs to emit a faint high-pitch noise/beep that's audible in a quiet environment. The Orbit looks exactly like my other ones, so I'm not sure if the technology has changed. Tech support said return it to B&H Photo for a replacement. I'm still giving it 5 stars hoping it's a quirk and that the replacement will be just fine! 5

Use this with a laptop. My tired old fingers have trouble using the pad on the laptop. This trackball works great for me. 5

I am an editor and a colorist. I use this in conjunction with my regular mouse (both hands working!) For the best control inside Premiere, After Effects and Davinci Resolve. This is a cheap fix for people who are wanting to buy high end coloring hardware. Best of all is the precision I get with this scroll wheel and the ball 5

A word on trackballs vs mice : mice are easier , more prevalent and far more popular...much in the way that blasters are easier , more prevalent and far more popular than light sabers yes geeks I'm talking to you ! - but any geek knows that the light saber , whilst being far more difficult and esoteric to master - is by far the more effective , desirable and at day's end elegant weapon and the one that captures the imagination like no other. IMO - anyone that hasn't given the trackball it's fair chance and taken the extra time and effort required to master it is simply losing out on the overall computering experience. The trackball has a fluidity , a speed and grace , an accuracy that once mastered , make the mouse look like , well , a crude blaster. did I mention that's it's also incredibly FUN ? Are there people out there who are simply amazing with a mouse ? Sure. I'll take the trackball any day Younglings - don't take my word - try one for yourselves and let The Force be the judge. LOL 5

A good track ball mouse is worth it's weight in gold. For a detailed photographer working on photo restoration this product is a must. As soon as you take it out of the package you plug it in and you're ready to go !! Smooth and precise in all it's actions. I love it. And no more sore wrist to boot. 5
