This TC Series C-Mount 1.333x Bi-Telecentric Lens from Opto Engineering is designed for use with matrix detectors from 1/3" up to 2/3", and can function as a key component in any measurement system powered by machine vision. This lens can take advantage of high-resolution detectors such as 5MP - 2/3", acquiring images with high fidelity and precision.

Opto Engineering's bi-telecentric design allows these optics to achieve pure telecentricity; no magnification change occurs when moving away or towards the subject, making this lens ideal for measurement applications of mechanical parts ranging from extruded aluminum profiles to tiny clock gears.

Q: 1. The particular Watson V-mount battery that is the 'recommended accessories' is not rated at 190Wh (or higher) like the B and H staff person (Byron) said that Aputure recommends. It's mind boggling that B and H makes this so confusing. Watson does make a 192 and a 198 Wh battery. Wouldn't these be the best fit to power these Aputure lights?

A: To clarify, the Watson Pro Cine High-Load V-Mount Battery, B&H # WAVM99HCSR currently offered an accessory is able to handle the high draw of 15 amps on this Aputure lamphead. However, it will not run the light at full power as long as a battery that is 190Wh or higher. If you prefer a longer run time at full power, the Watson Pro Buddy System High-Load V-Mount Battery BH #WAVM198BHLE would be a better option. https://bhpho.to/2ClkpwG

Q: 2. What power bank is recommended for this light?

A: You could use the UGREEN 3-Port USB-C Power Bank (25,000mAh, 145W) BH #UG90597A • MFR #90597A and for a charger if you do not have one UGREEN Nexode 30W GaN II USB-C Wall Charger BH #UG90901 • MFR #9090.

Q: 3. Will the Anton Bauer Dionic 26V 240Wh battery work at full power? It is rated at 12 Amps for max current.

A: This light needs 2x 14v batteries.

Q: 4. What V mount battery do you recommend for delivering 120W?

A: The Godox ML100Bi Bi-Color Portable LED Light (36° Lens & V-Mount Handgrip Kit) can work with many V-mount batteries. This is a good two-battery kit: B&H # IN2PSKTDC (https://bhpho.to/4fhoU8D). Here's another one that will last longer: B&H # WAVM293SP2CK (https://bhpho.to/48ChoCZ).

Q: 5. What v mount batteries should I consider?

A: There are two important considerations in selecting batteries for the Aputure Light Storm LS300X LED Light Kit with V-Mount Battery Plate: Amps (A) and Watt Hours (Wh). Aputure recommends using batteries that are capable of continuously discharging 14-15A , to provide adequate headroom for the power draw. To maximize run time, you should consider batteries rated at 190Wh or higher.

Q: 6. What are the best-recommended batteries to meet the Aputure aspects for Aputure Light Storm LS300X for both Wattage and Amperage?

A: Core SWX HyperCore NEO 150 V B&H # CONEO150SCK

Q: 7. Where can I see the condition of this USED light?

A: At the one and only BH superstore located in NYC.

Q: 8. What is the maximum weight of a Bowens mount modifier on this thing? I'm planning on buying the adapter as well.

A: Godox does not list the support weight using the Godox ML100Bi Bi-Color Portable LED Light (36° Lens & V-Mount Handgrip Kit) with the Bowens mount adapter. How small the light is, my estimate is no more than 1-2 lb. at the most.

Q: 9. Can this light except an umbrella modifier?

A: The Aputure LS 300x Bi-Color LED Monolight (V-Mount) does not have a built-in hole to accept the shaft from an umbrella. As such, you would have to purchase an adapter such as the Impact Swivel Umbrella Adapter, B&H # IMCA108, which has an umbrella socket built into the adapter. It is compatible for use with umbrellas that have 7mm and 8mm umbrella shafts. Do note that the center of the umbrella will not be aligned with the light head, so you will have to tilt the light fixture to aim it toward the center of the umbrella.

Q: 10. If we mount these on the ceiling, can we use the Sidus Link phone app to turn these on and off? Thanks.

A: Yes, the Sidus Link app can still control the LS300X even when mounted into the ceiling.
