Q: 1. In the B&H photo named Main Compartment Filled View 2 , it shows a black Ruggard padded foam piece surrounding the body of the camera. Other photos do NOT show this pad and it's obvious to see that the camera can move around inside the bag, unless you cinch together the velcro straps in a ridiculous manner as one of the customer photos suggests. My question: Is that piece of black Ruggard foam pad included with this bag?

A: THE CORRECT ANSWER TO THIS SPECIFIC QUESTION: I looked carefully at what Paul S. asked about (now years ago)... and was almost deceived myself. At first glance it DOES look almost like custom-fit foam for a particular camera body. But after bringing that photo into Photoshop and increasing the brightness level, I realized that this "black padded foam piece" seemingly "surrounding the body of the camera" is merely shadow/darkness. So NO, it's not included.

Q: 2. where is this bag made?

A: The Outrigger 65 is manufactured in China.

Q: 3. Interior Dimensions 12Wx16.5Lx12.5H? I have a TG-5 W/waterproof (PT-058) housing, mounted on a 9" rack with a YS-03 Strobe on a 19" flex arm, and a Light & Motion Video GoBe Light Cold shoe mounting and a wide angle wet lens. Can this bag accommodate this kit without dismantling it?

Q: 6. I'm looking for a camera backpack that I can use on the slopes. Need to carry a D7200 and 2 standard lens and a few odds & ends. Any suggestions ?

A: Plenty of room for what you need,I do not if it will sturdy enough

Q: 7. In prev question states TSA friendly, how about the tripod with it ?thank you Alan

A: I don't travel much on the airlines, but if you use a small travel type tripod that folds to 16 inches or so, I would think there would be no problem. The problem I see looking at this Backpack is, there is really no where to mount a tripod to it. It has side pockets as you can see in the picture, but no where up top to strap down the tripod at the top.

Q: 8. What kind of tripod will this bag accommodate? I have a Benro Road-Trip tripod which won’t fit into the straps at the bottom.

A: This Oben CT-3535 Folding Carbon Fiber Travel Tripod with BE-208T Ball Head is small enough and fits in the straps at the bottom of the Ruggard Outrigger 65 DSLR Backpack (Black). It folds to just 12 inches.

Q: 9. Will these Matthews stands fit: BH #IMLSCT40MBK?

A: This Rolling Kit Bag bag was designed to carry our C+ C-Stands that feature a removable base.

Q: 10. Will an Olympus OMD EM1x fit?

A: The OMD EM1x is about 6x6x3 inches and the Ruggard backpack is 11 x 15.5 x 7.25 inches to it will easily fit with room for the camera and about 4 lenses.
