A: No, it does not rotate. Also the bottom of the rail is for the smaller clamp and is not a standard Arca-Swiss size.If you want a one that works like that but is standard and you can rotate it. There is one by Acratech. And there is another option by Sirui, a base that can attach to a rail that allows you to rotate.

A: There appears to be a screw at the top of the Monoball that allows you to remove the clamp, but, in my experience that has never been the easiest or cheapest way to modify your tripod head. I would suggest clamping another clamp to the head. such as the Benro PC1 Panning Base B&H # BEPC1 MFR # PC1. It will give you additional flexibility.

Q: 9. When i normally use my DSLR i can hit the little magnify glass to zoom in on the image on the rear LCD to check focus. If i hit the magnify glass button on my camera will this monitor zoom in as well? Or is there no zoom feature on external monitors to check focus?

A: The monitor emulates the camera LCD. On my camera the monitor will zoom in allowing to check focus.

Q: 10. I have yet to find a hdmi to mini hdmi that fits. Any advice?

A: Attaching the cable while the mount is loose should solve this.
