Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Will it attach to a Ricoh11 and Ricoh 111?

A: It should. Looking at the photos of the Ricoh11 I see strap eyelets. The OP/Tech strap attaches using a pair of loop connectors (they're a heavy string) that should fit the Ricoh's eyelets. I use this strap to carry a heavy SLR, and I like it enough that when I wore out my first one I replaced it with a second one.

Q: 2. will this be ok for a Leica M6 or M3 body?

A: Hi! I agree with previous comments, this is more for heavy things. But check out the OP TECH Super Classic Strap - Pro Loop instead. I use this for my binoculars, and it fits well with lighter equipment. I am not familiar with Leica M3 or M6, but from pictures I have looked upon, it seems the fixation points for the strap may have quite small holes. You may need to put some small key-chain rings of appropriate size into the fixed attachment points on the camera body, before attaching the pro-loop. But anyhow, the OP TECH straps are the best I have ever found out there, and my first strap for an heavy Photo Bag, is still in use after more than 10 years. I nowadays use them on all photoequipment and binoculars, it is just to find the right model. Good luck and I hope you find the one that suits your need.

Q: 3. Hi, will the connectors of this Cam Strap fit if my camera uses the OP/TECH USA Mirrorless Strap with Mini QD Connectors B&H # OPMLSTB ? Thanks.

A: Yes this should work fine with the clips on your OP/TECH USA Mirrorless Strap with Mini QD Connectors. They seem to be the same exact clip.

Q: 4. Will this work with the Panasonic Lumix DXC-GX85 Camera?

A: Yes, the OP/TECH USA Pro Loop Strap, available in many colors, will work well with the Panasonic Lumix DMC-GX85. This includes the wine red color you asked about (B&H# OPSPLW), as well as black (BH# OPSPLB), gray (B&H# OPSPLST), navy blue (B&H# OPSPLN), and so on.

Q: 5. Would this be usable with a Canon G7xii?

A: I am a Nikon girl so I don't know for sure but I can't image it not working if you have two triangular attachments one on each side of your camera.

Q: 6. Is this strap going to fit with Panasonic zs70?

A: Yes, it will fit on the ZS70.

Q: 7. Will this wrist strap fit the Canon SL3 and attache securely?

A: The recommended Wrist Straps for your Canon SL3 are the SLR Wrist Strap and the Gotcha Wrist Strap. These are both have a recommended load of up to 10 lbs. while the Cam Strap QD has a recommended load of up to 2.5 lbs. https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/542422-REG/OP_TECH_USA_6701062_SLR_Wrist_Strap_Black.html https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/118894-REG/OP_TECH_USA_6701252_Gotcha_Wrist_Strap_Black.html

Q: 8. I saw that the outer cover layers are glued to the foam rather than stitched (and the foam edges are exposed). Wouldn't it be an issue over time? Start peeling off?

A: These straps hold up well overtime, it is possible that it can become separated but that has not been a known issue.

Q: 9. Does it really say Op/Tech USA in big letters on the visible side, or is this just for the ads? I think I would love this if that weren't so visible.

A: Yup, fairly visible company lettering but then, made in the USA, inexpensive so why not support them by giving a little promo since they're charging so little for these. Most photogs will know Op-tech anyhow. We US consumers are a difficult bunch to accommodate: either it's too expensive, or we're unhappy about "advertising" for a small company, or any other host of complaints. One customer suggested using a "magic marker" to black out the lettering. While I don't know what a magic marker is, a felt-tip/flow permanent marker will also work if supporting those U.S. jobs bothers you that much.

Q: 10. Are the plastic parts of this strap resistant? Can't you break and drop my camera to the ground?

A: The plastic parts are extremely strong and can easily carry the weight of your camera. The quick disconnects have been tested with a tensile strength of over 148lbs .... not that we'd ever recommend that, but it goes to show the strength of our hardware used in the strap. Some plastics are considerably stronger than some metals. They've improved tremendously over the years. I noticed the community comment concerning the Canon CPS Strap. We also manufacture that strap and it's very strong and comfortable. It uses the same pad that is in our Utility Strap Series. I hope that this information is helpful. Cheers!

I decided to place this on my D300 after going to a hot air balloon festive with two heavy lenses. I noticed a lot of pain of carrying my D300 with the Nikon 70-200mm 2.8 where the OME Nikon strap was just not supplying me enough comfort. Also as pervious reviewers have mentioned, not have a branded camera strap wards off curious thieves to boot.

I own a D300, and was looking for a strap that can help to make the camera feels lighter. Pro strap is the answer! It is much more comfortable using this than the original Nikon Strap. Highly recommended.

I often wear a nylon jacket and most straps slip off my shoulder. This strap stays put. Best one I ever owned.

This is my third Op/Tech Pro Strap. It won't be my last. I have them on every camera I own. In 38 years of photography this is the best strap I have ever used.

I have one for my Canon 5D and for my 30D. It really takes the weight of the camera and distributes it evenly on the back of your neck! I have nothing negative to say about this strap.

The strap is easy to attach. It fits nice and snug around the neck without any chafing. It is also designed to fit over the shoulder without slipping off--great peace of mind.

I have many straps, the Op/Tech Pro is by far my favorite. Have one on my D700 and D300. Comfortable for long periods. There is nothing I can say negative, highly recommended.

Lightens the camera. Comfortable around my neck. Very easy to attach. Durable (I have another one I've had for two years with no wear showing.)
