The SCM-660 from Senal is a professional-grade, multi-pattern, true condenser microphone that features a large 1.3" gold-plated transducer element. The microphone offers a full, rich tone, making it an ideal choice for studio recording, broadcasting, podcasting, or live recording. With an SPL handling of 140 dB, the SCM-600 captures vocals and instruments accurately and with pristine clarity.

With three selectable polar patterns, cardioid, omnidirectional, and figure-8, the SCM-660 is capable of a wide range of miking techniques and configurations. In addition, the onboard -10 dB attenuation pad optimizes signal levels, and the integrated 80 Hz high-pass filter rolls off unwanted low-frequency noise and rumble when recording.

Built with all-metal construction, the microphone comes with a suspension shockmount with additional suspension bands to reduce unwanted vibrations. A rugged aluminum carry case, a protective pouch, and a 5/8" threaded adapter are also included.

The Senal SCM-660 uses a large dual gold-plated diaphragm that is 1.3ʺ in diameter. It is tailored for a superior frequency response with a wide dynamic range

The microphone's polar pattern is selectable from cardioid, omnidirectional and figure-8. It offers greater flexibility in a variety of recording applications

The high-pass filter switch delivers roll-off for unwanted frequencies below 80 Hz that are associated with low-frequency noises and rumble, which can also degrade your recording

A -10 dB attenuation pad prevents distortion when recording loud sounds such as cymbals and electric guitar cabinets

To get optimal signal level without compromising the original audio source, this microphone handles a maximum SPL of 140 dB

The SCM-660 is built with an all-metal construction that maintains an overall high standard of durability. A hard-shelled case is also included, is suitable for storage, and provides protection when taking the SCM-660 on the road

The included shockmount reduces unwanted vibrations and comes with a universal 5/8" threaded-socket adapter. It is designed with a locking knob that enables vertical adjustment for customized placement

Q: 10. Would this word with a countryman xlr lav? If not, I wish someone would make a lavalier system that would just record high quality audio from the mic. A: The Tascam DR-10x recorder is designed specifically to work with dynamic handheld ENG mics. It is not able to provide phantom power to mics that require it such as the Countryman lavaliers hardwired with XLR connectors.
