A: In the Nest doorbell app there is a setting to turn off the chime sound.

A: The product is made by O.C. white. If you are referring to O.C. Whites Microphone Arm it will work as long as the arm ends in a round metal tip that will fit into the mount.

Q: 9. We are buying a newly built house with a doorbell. Can we just replace it with the Nest Hello? Can my husband install or do we need an electrician?

A: As long as the existing transformer falls between the specification of 16 to 24 VAC; 10 VA then you can just replace the unit. They designed this unit to be relatively easy to install but it is recommended to bring an installer.
