Therefore our Microboards 3 disk unit, our 10 disk unit and our chained twin 10 disc units all operate independently and are not connected to any of the networks.

A: If you are wanting to get M-Disc support than your burner must support it. As well if you are looking to burn BDXL you burner must support this as well.

A: Currently Blu-ray disks are manufactured in three formats -- single layer which has a capacity of 25 GB of storage, a Dual layer format which stores 50 GB of information and triple layer which will hold 100 GB of information storage capacity. A 25 GB disk generally holds approx. 2 hours of Hi-Def. video; dual layer holds about 4 hours lf Hi-Def. and some special features like director cuts and extra scenes. the 100 GB disks increase capacity in a similar matter.Take care to verify that your software and especially verify your that your hardware dvd burner is rated to burn single, double media and triple layer Blu-ray media to avoid damage to your burner.
