I love my Canon Rebel T6i.. and the power 24 mp works great with my high powered lens

I upgraded from the Rebel t3i and so far, so good. The biggest issue for me with my old camera was the unreliable focus, since I vlog and usually have nobody to help me with that. The t6i was the choice for me because it has the smart autofocus better cameras have, like the 70D, for example, but still has the same portability of my t3i. With almost the same weight and size, it practically doesn't feel like a new camera. I travelled with it to New York and Washington D.C. and it felt just as natural as my t3i used to.

I use it to take surf photos (which can be a little tricky). I stepped up from a t5i and I was nervous if it would be worth the extra investment (Canon is notorious for having upgrades that are not that impressive) Anyway, the step up from the t5i to the t6i was really worth it!! Check out one of my pictures. I am not sure you can get much better picture quality at this price.

I am an advanced hobbyist loving photography. I just love the Canon Rebel Series. All of them are good. This one is the very best EVER! It has everything you could ever want on a camera. I am having so much fun with it. If you can't afford a Canon 70D, or the like, this is very close to more expensive cameras. There are NO cons to this camera. Love! Love! Love!

I wanted to upgrade from a Canon T3 I had used for about a year. I take wildflower photos. I have a Canon EFS 60mm f/2.8 macro usm lens to use with it.

I love this camera. Fast, silent, not too heavy, compact, rugged. Pictures have nice crisp colors. Very useful 19-point focus. White balance is a welcome plus. The tilting screen allows for creative angles. I love the Wi-Fi function that allows me to share pictures on the spot (phone app needed) which is a lot faster than using Wi-Fi enabled SD cards.

Canons latest APS-C sensor and newest processor min the T6i far exceeded my expectations. Combined with some decent lenses quality is at a professional level. That being said the new full frame sensor cameras are still way better. Not seeing any real noise until ISO 800. Have shot at 1600 a little more noise than I would like but with DeNoise or other noise reduction software easily controlled. The WiFi feature is awesome just download canon connect to your smart phone and you have a remote shutter with live view on your phone. Still thinking of ways to use this feature to my advantage.

I can't find any 'cons' to list for this camera, it's great. I was getting great shots right out of the box. If you're familiar with Canon SLRs already, there's a very easy learning curve. Well worth the money! My only two gripes are you can't apparently delete all the photos on the card at once when you've downloaded them. Takes a while to delete when you've taken a lot of shots... And the video controls aren't very well placed. You'd think the shutter release button would control the video, but it doesn't.
