Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Has anyone seen oil splatter on a D500 sensor? Is that problem solved?

A: I have had mine since first released and have not experienced this issue.

Q: 2. Will this work for the D5600?

A: Unfortunately this one is just designed for the D5500.

Q: 3. No light meter?

A: The D500 has extensive light metering. Spot, Center weighted, and Matrix. And it can vary the points the metering is done. Works with lenses up to f8 on a couple of selected points.

Q: 4. Can this take two XQD cards at once? Or is it solely one XQD and one SD card?

A: The D500 includes dual card slots, which includes one XQD and one SD card slot. You may use one of each in the camera, but you cannot use two XQD cards in the camera simultaneously as there is only one XQD memory card slot in the camera.

Q: 5. Does the D 500 come with a separate battery charger or the does the battery have to be charged in the camera?

A: Here's and idea: why not look at In the Box section of the product listing?!

Q: 6. I read a review stating the pics from the D500 were not compatiable with photoshop software. Is this even possible? What does the camera have to do with software?

A: I have never used any Software with my photos. I am a firm believer that if you have to FIX' a photo then it is not a photo. I believe it has put me in a direction to become a better photographer.

Q: 7. Does it explain the different sports shooting modes?

A: Yes

Q: 8. Is there printed manuals coming together with the D500 and the 16-80mm lens?

A: 2 manuals, eng & sp! focuses fast in dimmest light; sharp & 10fps @ 21mp + 1300exp/chg; MUCH to like @ 1/2 the D5$. &, your 16-80 is great on an fx nikon. iso 100k(+2-3) often possible!

Q: 9. Hi there ,what two ? Cards does the Nikon d 500 use. Thanks.

A: SD and XQD cards

Q: 10. What are the differences between the D500 and the D500 100th Anniversary Edition (besides almost $1000)?

A: You are paying for the decorations celebrating the company's 100th Anniversary. There is no difference in handling or image quality.
