A: There is no power cord that will allow these to work together. The cord on the battery pack is hardwired and the shape of the connector is different. Unfortunately the Metz P76 battery pack is no longer available. We do sell a cable that will allow you to use quantum type battery packs to power your flash. A: Hi, the unit does not have a battery icon like a phone or laptop. A single red LED tells you that the unit has batteries. I bought it for one, 5 day event, 5000 fill flashes, changed the batteries once, like a speedlight, when recharging slowed. The unit worked flawlessly. I didn't try full flash and didn't need fast recycle, so I don't know how it works that way. Canon says 300 flashes at full power, seems a conservative claim. Its intuitive, carry spare batteries... Only unit that didn't seem to have issues from the reviews I read before purchasing. But you are correct, it would be nice to have a battery icon on the unit. happy shooting.

A: The Bolt CBP-C1 does work with my YN685N. The end that attaches to the flash is a straight plug. This configuration is what Cannon uses however it works with my Nikon D7100, Yongnuo YN622N-TX and the YN685N. I use the wireless set up and het faster recycle time. I have not tried to count the increase in flashes that you may obtain with this.
