I'm wedding videographer, this camera is amazing. Good in low lights, excellent size and work very well with Nikon and Sigma Lens.

I am blown away at how the introduction into the mirrorless world has been with the Z6! I previously used the Nikon D750 and loved it, but wanted to get into the mirrorless, but still keep my Nikon glass. I noticed no auto focus lag with the FTZ adapter as well. I can honestly say it will be hard to go back to a DSLR and the Z6 has allowed me to step up my Photography and now trying Video! Highly recommend this camera if you are a Nikon shooter.

It takes great pictures,it is ergonomically very well designed. It is comfortable to hold and keep stable. I wasnt sure I would like something new, I’m so glad I took the plunge. It is light and quiet. Now I want more!

I was intrigued by Sony dominance of the mirrorless camera market and all around presence since the Alpha brand was released. I almost made the jump until I heard of the Nikon Z6. Since 2012 I started shooting Nikon and since then have purchased quite a few lenses since then so once the Z6 was announced I was watching. Now I never used any other mirrorless camera after my D800 and can't say that I will after purchasing the Z6. It is the perfect travel camera(can even fit in my Herschel fanny pack without any issue. autofocus is great, best I've experienced in any Nikon camera coming from the D5100, D5300, and D800. I can carry it with ease and grace so to speak if I have a photoshoot or just walking around recording B-roll for videos. The BEST mirrorless camera out for the price also! Highly recommended.

The Z6 feels comfortable in my hand, like my digital.  The new lense works smoothly and the pictures are very sharp.  The settings and placement is like my digital 35mm so it is easy to find the basics.  Now I have my work cut out learning all the new features and some that arent so new, but ones I havent been using because it slowed me down finding them and making the changes.  I love the feel and look forward to using this camera a lot.

The QXD memory card is very difficult to pull out because the ridge on the memory card that enables the photographer to pull it out faces the card slot cover, THE WRONG WAY, and it's very difficult to get a grip on the card, therefore very difficult to pull it out.

B and H great to work with as usual. Sold my D750 and obtained Z6. Very happy so far. Images are very sharp and ergonomics are very good. Haven’t had issues with autofocus. Did do the firmware update. Only issue (vs xt3 ) is there is a delay if camera times out to fire up before next picture can be taken. Not a problem for landscape but problematic if shooting intermittent action such as a parade etc. I wish it had group autofocus but hopefully in another firmware upgrade. 3D autofocus does not necessarily lock on to what I want but I don’t use that for action but rather single point or 9 point. Or I use the D500! FTZ works well with Nikon lenses and some Tamron lenses with tap in console updates. No regrets about purchase and once you use mirrorless I doubt you use DSLR much afterwards.

This is new technology and produces an amazingly clear, crisp image. I shoot in very low light and grayscale areas for my business and I am impressed with the sharpness of images and compensation for low light areas. There is a definite learning curve with new tools and the touch screen. The shutter release is very sensitive and I have gotten several random pictures from that. The display is easy to read and user interface is good. Again, learning curve with switching between viewfinder and screen.
A few cons but again learning curve possibly. The image stabilization and focus is tough to manage. I am used to a few out of focus shots but now seem to get random blurry shots more frequently. The FTZ adapter is nice to not have to buy new lenses but it makes the camera heavier to hold and shoot. It also sticks out below the bottom of the camera so the camera balances on the base which I am not fond of. I purchased the extra battery and am very glad I did. The battery life is not great on this camera and I find it probably half of my other Nikons.
Overall though, I do like the clarity of the images, there is a distinct difference between my old Nikon DSLR and this Z6.

Sprung for the refurbished version of the Z6 & 24-70/4 S combo, which basically made the lens free. You lose the longer Nikon warranty, but for the money saved, it's worth the risk.

About the camera, briefly... easily the best all-around mirrorless camera to date. Amazing build quality, exactly what you would expect transitioning from a Nikon DSLR to mirrorless. Beautiful EVF that, for the first time, did not make me miss an optical viewfinder.

The 24-70/4 S is a wonderful lens - very compact but CONSISTENTLY sharp across the frame. A little field curvature at long distance, but that's about the only downside. The 50/1.8 S is near Otus-level quality.

Battery life is FAR better than EIPA ratings or some reviews would suggest. I'm easily getting ~1200-1400 shots per charge and I rarely take more than 2 photos of the same subject. I'm a pretty slow and deliberate shooter, not a burst shooter.

Only wish that it had a second SD card slot and, more importantly to me, a vertical grip.

Also, I wish the refurbished version had come with a manual. Yes, you can download this online, but I like having a physical copy. Not a big deal. Rarely had to consult the manual and won't have to ever again most likely.

Below shots taken with iPhone 8, not the Z6 (obviously)
