The phone offers an easy-to-use interface and provides a traditional telephony-like user experience.

White backlit, greyscale, 3.5" 396×162 pixel-based display.

The handset is a standard wideband-capable audio handset (connects through an RJ-9 port) for the IP Phone 7821, 7841 and 7861. The handset is hearing aid-compatible (HAC) and meets Federal Communications Commission (FCC) loudness requirements for the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). The analog headset jack is a standard wideband-capable RJ-9 audio port.

The phone supports backlit indicators for the audio path keys (handset, headset and speakerphone), select key, line keys, and message waiting.

A volume-control toggle provides easy decibel-level adjustments of the handset, monitor speaker, and ringer.

Full-duplex speakerphone allows gives you flexibility in placing and receiving calls. For added security, the audible dual tone multifrequency (DTMF) tones are masked when the speakerphone mode is used.

This IP phone includes a default black bezel (replaceable), and an optional silver bezel sold separately.

The display is easy to view and the buttons and keys are easy to use. The two-position foot stand supports viewing angles of 30 degrees and 45 degrees; you can remove the foot stand for wall mounting, with mounting holes located on the base of the phone.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Does this have 1/4 20 female threads on the bottom?

A: Yes it does have a standard 1/4 20 mount on the bottom.

Q: 2. Will this work with URSA Mini Pro?

A: Yes, this camera is compatible with most cameras and lenses. An Ursa Mini Pro should work on it well.

Q: 3. Does this decoder need a static IP or will work with dongles with dynamic IP - if yes what latency would be expected?

A: The JVC BR-DE900 ProHD IP Decoder (B&H# JVBRDE900) will use a static IP address. While many factors can affect latency, with respect to the decoder itself, the manufacturer only states that it minimizes the decoding process cycle, adding 1.5 seconds to whatever other factors may be present.

Q: 4. What size tripod screw does this screw into?

A: that will use a standard 1/4-20 screw

Q: 5. Will this case accommodate an iPhone 16 pro ?

A: Yes, the Lowepro ProTactic Phone Pouch will accommodate an iPhone 16 Pro.

Q: 6. We have three cameras and I would like to have a prompter on all three but run the same script on all three of them. Will this sync to one ipad?

A: According to Telmax, you need their Galaxy products which come with their Zprompt software. This software can create a master feed to drive several displays. However, that software only works on Mac or Windows computers, not iPad's or tablets. The total cost may be lower in the end by not needing additional iPad's.Please see the following link for the Galaxy products available here at B&H.http://bhpho.to/1bNuYVD

Q: 7. What type of battery setup is required for remote field use?

A: This product uses a standard AC Power supply. You could look at something like the GOAL ZERO Yeti 400 Portable Power Station to operate it in the field, BH #GOGZ23000. https://bhpho.to/2TRzfjl

Q: 8. could this be used on a motorized slider?

A: Yes it would. As long as the slider will support the weight of both the camera and the Telmax PRO-IP-EX Universal Tablet & Smartphone Teleprompter. It mounts on normal tripod heads that you would use on sliders for mounting cameras.

Q: 9. This teleprompter model specifies that it is made for the iPad and iPad 2. Since those are older iPad models, will this teleprompter work with an iPad Air and iPad Air 2?

A: I don't have an iPad Air to test but I believe that the newer ones would fit. There seems to be enough play that it would easily fit in there.. The tension clip is what really holds it in the place anyway.Best of luck!

Q: 10. What are the carrying cases used for transporting this?

A: We recommend the Porta Brace PB-2700 Hard Case with Foam for this teleprompter, BH #POPB2700FP. https://bhpho.to/2TlLSmn
