The jauntily-named Bod-A-Boom Camera Shoulder Mount from ALZO Digital is an adjustable hands-free rig for DSLRs and smaller camcorders. Designed to transfer weight away from your arm to your core, it has padded shoulder rests and a waist strap with a padded front plate.

The Bod-A-Boom Camera Shoulder Mount's ball-mounted camera base enables tilting of the camera and includes a locking quick release mechanism. The base of the adjustable boom can be raised up to 7" above the waist belt. The Bod-A-Boom Camera Shoulder Mount's boom features a push-button quick-tilt function and a foam handgrip.

Q: 2. Can the ball head mount be removed?

A: Sorry, never tried removing the ball head. And I don't use this harness anymore. But I would say it is possible to unscrew it.

Q: 3. Would this work with a vixia g20? If not, what would.

A: Yes it will. This system has clearance for up to 7.5 tall and 8.5 wide. It will have no issues handling the Vixia G20.

Q: 4. What is a solution to mounting wireless receivers to this camera? I have two Sennheiser EW-200's. Thanks!

A: The Sennheiser EW series products come with a Shoemount Adapter, if you do not have that anymore we have it available as a replacement part. You can use the shoe mount adapter to connect the receiver to the cold shoe on the camera. The HM850 also has an additional accessory thread on the top handle, you could purchase a Pearstone Shoe Adapter to connect a 2nd receiver to that as well. If you wanted to use a light on your cold shoe we have products like the Vello V-Rig Triple Shoe to give you additional connections.

Q: 5. Do I need to buy an adapter for my battery to fit on this camera ?

A: The camera accepts Gold-Mount batteries. If you have Gold Mount Batteries already you would not need an adapter. At the time of this posting we are actually offering a free JVC Gold-Mount Battery & Tandem-70 Power Package.

Q: 6. Can I mount this onto a tripod with 1/4'' screw?

A: Yes you can.

Q: 7. Is the grip component removable? So like if I wanted to shoot handheld/monopod style could I release it without taking all the shoulder parts off?

A: The height adjustable camera "Boom" part of the ALZO Bod-A-Boom hands free camera support is not removable. The ball head camera mount on the top of the "Boom" includes a camera quick release plate to allow for fast release and re connect of the camera. This allows for quick change to hand held camera work.

Q: 8. Does this work with the BMPCC 6K Pro as well?

A: No it does not. the 6K pro is a different shape from the Pocket Cinema 4K and original 6K cameras. The Pocket 6K Pro will not fit in the cage that comes in this kit.

Q: 9. Can I shoot vertically with this ballhead?

A: Yes, that will be possible.

Q: 10. Is this compatible with the QR plates used on the Manfrotto Advanced Compact Tripod (200PL plates?)
