Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Does this work for C Stand? or only on autopole?

A: Only on an auto pole

Q: 2. I like this design style but it is too weak. Is there any company that makes this exact thing except out of metal? I have had multiple mounts like this but they have all broke. I need something stronger (with a metal chain)

A: A similar product but with a metal chain is the Manfrotto 046MCG Expan Drive Set with Gray Metal Chain B&H # MA046MCG. Please see the image below for reference:

Q: 3. Does this have three drives to hold three rolls at the same time?

A: Yes

Q: 4. Will this hold 3x Vinyl or cloth rolls?

A: Yes - I'd say the hardware is easily capable. The weak point will be how you have it fastened to the wall/ceiling

Q: 5. I have a wall that is cornered by another. How many inches past the brackets do the roller handles extend? Also, can the chain drive end be mounted on either the left or the right or can the chain drive only be on one specific side and which side is that? Thanks

A: I have this system. I'm not at the studio to measure exactly, but the handles stick out about 8 on each end. They can be mounted on left or right. I have three rolls so I alternated the chain mounts so they wouldn't tangle each other (1 on left, 2 right). Hope this helps.

Q: 6. what is the maximum core roll diameter? 3"?

A: Core diameter max is 3".

Q: 7. What is the widest overall width in inches of a 107 inch paper roll with both end pieces attached?

A: I have these set up in my studio. The hardware sticks out approximately 6.5 inches on each side of the roll making the total width 120 inches.

Q: 8. Wha is the minimum core roll diameter? Planning on using it on a 2" core diameter

A: The Varidrive inserts are designed for 2" diameter core paper rolls

Q: 9. Can I mount to concrete wall using 3 9ft and 7ft rolls?

A: You can mount to concrete. The Impact Wall Mounting Kit with Metal Chain for Roll Paper BH #IMVPDDSMCK only comes with two wall mount fixtures. All the rolls must be the same length.

Q: 10. Do I need to buy a pole for each paper roll?

A: I agree with the previous three answers. You do not need to buy the poles, but I purchased them because there were reports that the cardboard tubes that hold the seamless paper start to bend in humid climates.
