Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. How many minutes work after charging?

A: I use it for my Sound Devices 633 along with another off brand battery as back ups when my np1 that powers everything goes down and I don't have time to change to a fresh. Both xl series batts last about 4-5 hours just powering the 633 and a boom for phantom power, I don't have them set up to power the receivers or hops. Again that's what I use them for, your mileage may vary if you are using for another purpose.

Q: 2. Will this work with a Benro A48FD monopod that has 3 feet? I will be shooting with a Nikon D7200.

A: Yes, it will work if the monopod has a screw on top.

Q: 3. Will this fit over the Godox AD200 bare bulb as a protector?

A: If you had the Godox S-Type Speedlite Bracket for Bowens attached to the AD200, then this protective cap can be used.

Q: 4. what is the length of the Godox Protective Cap for QIII? Will it fit modeling light?

A: The protective cap will fit over the modeling lamp and flash tube.

Q: 5. Is it fairly easy to unscrew the quick release base? What is the thread size of the ball stud?

A: Yes, It is easy to unscrew. I don't know the exactly size of the thread but which is a regular size for common fittings. I found no any problem to put it on my Gitzo.

Q: 6. What are the dimensions? Is it the Godox mount or Bowens S? Does it fit the AD400PRO? Looking for a 1 piece replacement for the current 2 piece reflector + lid cover.

A: The Godox Protective Cap for QIII, QSII, and SKII Flashes is designed for use with light fixtures that use the Bowens S-mount for light modifiers. The manufacturer does not list the dimensions of this item. The Protective Cap will not natively connect directly onto the Godox AD400Pro Witstro All-in-One Outdoor Flash, but it can be used if you use the Godox Bowens Mount Adapter for AD400Pro Flash, B&H # GOBOAD400PRO • MFR # BO-AD400PRO, on your flash unit, which is included with the purchase of the Godox AD400Pro Witstro All-in-One Outdoor Flash.

Q: 7. Just received this Benro B3 Ballhead. I want to use this with the Wimberly Sidekick. The 360 panning is extremely stiff. Is there any adjustment available for this??

A: When I rotate my B3 on the panning axis, I can feel some dampening. For use as a ball head, I do not find it excessive. With that said, I cannot whip the head around like lightning. It wants to turn at a constant, and controlled speed. In other words, no jerky stop, starts, or pans. Imagine a panning video camera.. Perhaps, there is too much dampening for your purposes. I am not aware of any friction adjustment for the panning axis.

Q: 8. What is the screw size and thread pitch of the ball head female hole ( where you attach the arca clamp)?

A: While Benro indicates the thread size of the screw socket on the base of the Benro B3 Triple Action Ball Head is a 3/8"-16 female-threaded socket, and the thread on the top of the quick release plate is a 1/4-20" male thread, they do not indicate the size of the thread holding the quick release clamp to the ball stem on the ball head.

Q: 9. will this cover work on an AD600 ?

A: This can work on an AD600.

Q: 10. I am picking up my Canon 90D with battery grip this Saturday. Thinking about getting the Benro TMA37AL and the Benro B3 head. About broke now but want a good tripod and I heard about this one. Will this fit my set up ok? Don't do video just landscape photography here inn the PNW. Thank you for any help.

A: This would be a great ballhead for the 90D + battery grip with all lenses, large and small. It is an incredibly strong ballhead for the price and size/weight! :)
