The lightweight nXp400 4-Channel Multi-Mode Network Power Amplifier from Ashly features programmable output on each channel selectable via rear panel DIP switches with swept load impedance monitoring. Audio is processed via the 32-bit SHARC DSP at 48 or 96 kHz sample rates and a built-in signal generator is provided for test tone and noise-masking.
The nXp400 amplifier comes pre-installed with CobraNet network audio module and features aux preamp outputs. Ethernet control is supported via the free Protea NE software (downloadable from Ashly's website) and serial data control is possible via Ashly programmable remotes or third party controllers (available separately). The Protea DSP (Digital Signal Processing) software is included for dynamics, gain, equalization, matrix mixer, crossover, delay, and metering.
The amplifier is suitable for live sound and fixed installation sound systems at performance venues, stadiums, arenas, convention centers as well as schools, store fronts, and places of worship.

A: Yes it works great together. As long as you have the duel channel receiver the SMADP3D works with the Z150. No cables and no batteries in the receiver needed. The power comes from the cameras battery and the audio also goes through the hot shoe and into the camera.

A: The Sony SMADP3D Multi-Interface Shoe Adapter is compatible with the Sony a6300. User may connect the Sony URX-P03D 2-Channel Portable Receiver to the a6300 using this multi-interface shoe adapter.
Q: 5. Thank you - so using this adapter on the FS5ii, do you need to select MI shoe for BOTH input 1 and input 2 to get two separate wireless mics? Or can you get three: a L and R mono for the shoe input on XLR #1 and then another for XLR #2?
A: Yes you will need to select MI. And you will not get 3 signals out of a dual channel wireless. One mic will go to 1 and the other to 2.
Q: 6. I am shooting with the A7SIII and have been using the UTX-P03D. When I use the dual channel SMAD Unit, the ability to control audio levels in camera is suddenly disabled. Also the in the menu the (MI Shoe Audio Set) option is grayed out, not allowing me to control my levels anymore. Because of this I've been using the 2 channel Sony provided 3.5mm jack. Am I missing something, or does this SMAD unit only provide auto gain with no ability to control audio levels?
A: Awaiting a Call-Back from Sony on this, to confirm compatibility/usability with the A7s iii. One "theory" is that the A7siii is a "consumer" product and may not be (fully?) compatible. A: The SMAD-P3D is compatible with select cameras that feature Sony's Multi-Interface shoe. Unfortunately not compatible with the HDR-SR10.
