The NXE Series 2-Channel Networkable Multi-Mode Power Amplifier from Ashly comes pre-installed with OPDAC4 internal 4-Channel DAC with selectable HPF and OPDante Dante Network Audio Interface cards. The OPDante card enables access to digital audio networks at low latencies (83.3 μs) over fast Ethernet. It can be installed in the rear card slot of NXE series amplifiers. Signal can be routed from other Dante enabled devices by simply connecting a Cat5e or Cat6 cable to the card's primary or secondary (redundant) Ethernet ports. The amplifier is capable of driving 2 Ohms loads at full power and offers a maximum rated output power of 800W per channel at Low Z, 70V, and 100V modes. In addition, the amplifier is suitable for use in performance venues, stadiums, arenas, convention centers as well as schools, store fronts, and places of worship.

The multi-mode amplifier features an automatic but defeatable sleep mode consuming <1W, and instant standby mode controlled by contact closure or software. A switch mode power supply can auto-detect 120 or 240 VAC mains, and a Neutrik powerCON is used for the AC cord. Each channel features a selectable output mode of Low Z, 70V, or 100V, an 80 Hz high-pass filter, input limiter, and input gain settings of 26 dB, 32 dB, 38 dB, or 1.4V. Each channel comes with a remote DC level control.

The amplifier comes with Neutrik XLR/TRS combo jack and Euroblock input connectors and Neutrik speakON output connectors. The unit features a front panel power switch and level controls that can be disabled. The LEDs indicate Protect, Sleep, Disabled, Com, and Bridge mode status, as well as Temperature, Output Current, Output Signal, and Clipping/Mute status per channel. In addition, the power amplifier features an Ethernet control with a real-time clock for event scheduling.

The power amplifier is equipped with serial data remote control, aux preamp outputs, preset control, and fault condition logic outputs. It also features a temperature dependent variable speed forced-air cooling. In addition, the amplifier can be mounted on a standard 19” rack.

A: Unfortunately, the camera must be turned off in order to charge the batteries while the grip is installed.

A: The Nikon MB-N10 Multi-Battery Power Pack for Select Z-Series Cameras would not be compatible with a camera cage.

Q: 3. Does this grip have a 1/4 female tripod hole in the bottom?

A: Yes it has a 1/4-20 tripod socket.

Q: 4. Does this allow you to gain additional fps while shooting with it?

A: No, just longer shooting time and in grip charging.

Q: 5. Will this charge the latest EN-EL 15C using the USB-C port while using the camera with a compatible camera that allows USB power?

A: The camera needs to be turned off for you to charge the EN-EL15C battery in the grip via USB.

Q: 6. Will this work with the easyCover silicone protective cover in place?

A: Sadly this will not fit together, the silicone skin does not allow the 1/4"-20 to screw in properly and the pins for the battery grip don't make sufficient enough contact to operate.

Q: 7. will this work with the Nikon Z6iii?

A: No, the Nikon MB-N10 Multi-Battery Power Pack for Select Z-Series Cameras will not work with the Nikon Z6 III, but the Z6 III can use the MB-N14 grip instead. See: https://bhpho.to/4d2WkHd.

Q: 8. Does this have a shutter button and a back autofocus button on the grip for vertical shooting? Or does it just hold batteries?

A: Unfortunately this is just a battery grip without any control buttons.

Q: 9. Is this truly hot-swapable? That is, when battery A is depleted and the camera is using battery B, can I swap out battery A with a fresh battery and it will switch back? Can I swap either battery at any time as long as the other still has power?

A: Yes it is. The batteries are in two separate compartments.
