The Compact Table Top Tripod from Hawke Optics is a small table-top support designed for sport optics like spotting scopes and binoculars. Standing only 9.8" tall when in use, the tripod is ideal for use on a table or when lying prone and folds to just 12.6" for easy packing and transport. Its steel construction makes the tripod durable but, at 1.6 lb, doesn't add much weight.

The tripod features a simple twist-handle controlled pan and tilt head for basic vertical and horizontal movements. The head is equipped with a standard 1/4"-20 mounting thread for compatibility with most scopes, binoculars, and adapters.

A: Yes. The plate that comes with the tripod is standard arca-swiss. Works with my RRS .

Q: 2. which head will work best with a sony rx10 IV, this one or the 10s?

A: Any of the 3T35 series will do the job. the base model you are looking at has over an 8lb capacity. You will see that all Sirui table top tripods are very solid.

Q: 3. Can the head be changed to one I use from a larger tripod?

A: Yes. I changed the head for a larger one and also fitted a macro rail.

Q: 4. I have a Nikon D750 along with the following lenses - Nikon 24-120mm F4, Nikon 70-300mm F4.5/5.6, Nikon 85mm F1.8G, Nikon 50mm 1.8G, and a Nikon 20mm F1.8. I'm sure they'll be no issues with the primes. Any issues using this tripod with either of the zoom lenses?

A: You may have problems with the zooms, as the Mini Pro III is only rated to hold up to 2.75 lbs.

Q: 5. The description says it supports up to 2.2lbs but I purchased it and the instructions say up to 1.4lbs. Which is it?

A: I am sorry to hear that. Even the manufacturer's website for Manfrotto PIXI Mini Table Top Tripod (Black) BH #MAMTPIXIB • MFR #MTPIXI-B says it supports upto 2.2lbs. https://bit.ly/3vRcKy6.

Q: 6. Is there any provision for the legs to individually lock into an intermediate position, or do they all just extend to the fully extended position?

A: The legs are either extended or folded; there are no intermediate positions.

Q: 8. how good is this tri pod on a canon eos 6D w/ stigma 24mm lens?

A: I use it with my 6d MarkII with a Sigma 24 -105mm Art lens and also with my Sigma 150 to 600mm telephoto lens. I use to use it with my 1D Mark II.

Q: 9. How does one remove the bullhead and the column from the tripod? Allen wrench required?

A: The ballhead is attached using a 3/8" screw--you can remove the head by unscrewing it from the column. The column has a lock at the bottom of the tripod that can be loosened to remove the column.

Q: 10. Hi folks, I would like to use this to mount a Zhiyun Crane gimbal onto. Together with a camera its about 5 lbs. Can you tell me if this monopod feels strong and stable enough for this type of setup? I appreciate your response.

A: HelloNo this is not going to be strong enough. I would suggest getting something tested for at least 15lbs for your planned use
