The CE775 Dual View KVM Extender from Aten with Deskew allows access to a computer system from a remote dual view console up to 1000' away. The dual view function provides support for two displays, allowing the video output to seamlessly display on two monitors. Its advanced computer wake-up feature allows you to push a button from the remote dual view console to wake a computer at the local site via RS-232, without going to the local site. You can use the built-in front panel tuners to adjust the picture quality, and you can automatically synchronize the time delay of RGB signals in order to compensate for distance.

With this device there is no need to buy extra monitors or power down and switch cables when using two desktop computers. Simply push a button (or use the Hot Keys option) and you can toggle between boxes. Easy to set up and use and takes up very little space on my table. Included cables are generous in length to allow ease of routing. 5

I have been struggling with 3 mechanical switch boxes to bounce between my two dual monitor Macs. The video switches, after a few weeks, began to fail. The contacts became faulty and the monitors displayed incorrect colors or incorrect luma. I had to manipulate the switch to get a near decent image. Now remember I had to use a USB switch for my keyboard and mouse. Same story. The connections were intermittent causing erratic performance. The Iogear Dual View 2 port KVM (GCS1742) exceeded my expectations. The installation procedure was well documented and went without a hitch. The switch comes with all of the cables necessary. Both of my computer now communicate with both monitors, my keyboard and mouse, my audio out and audio in, seamlessly using a fraction of the desk real estate of my previous setup. When all is said and done this switch performs flawlessly and has greatly simplified the cabling needed to achieve the dual monitor, keyboard, speaker and microphone connection to two computers. I am quite pleased to find a product that efficiently does what it claims to do. 5
