The black Telescopic Mid-Level Spreader from Secced is designed to work with the Ares carbon fiber video tripods. The angle of the spreader legs can be adjusted in four grades. The desired angle of the tripod legs can be quickly adjusted using the center spread-lock. The telescope allows for further spreading or fine adjusting. This mid-level spreader is included in the Secced Ares 3, Ares 4, and Ares 5 video tripod systems.

A: I don't see why they wouldn't fit... these 15mm rod rigs are all standard. I have the Shape handles paired with a Zacuto baseplate and everything lines up perfectly. The handles are very good quality at a great price. I love the quick-release feature to adjust each handle separately and quickly when shooting run-n-gun. I also like the fact that I can rest this unit on the palm of my hand with the large flat indent between the handles... helpful for balancing the rig when using one hand while my other hand is making camera adjustments (I've used other handles in the past that have a nob in this spot and it hurts the palm!). The one-nob tightening system is nice too, although I think this nob could be a little more substantial. The only negative is that you can't position the handles closer or further from each other, but that's not been an issue for me to this point. Overall, an excellent purchase... and B&H has a great return policy.
