The CL5716NUKIT 16-port Slideaway LCD KVM Switch from Aten allows access to multiple computers from a single PS/2 or USB KVM console. It can control up to 16 computers, and daisy-chain with up to 31 additional KVM switches to control up to 512 computers from a single KVM console. The switch integrates a keyboard, a 19" LCD monitor, and a touchpad in a 1U rack-mountable sliding housing.

A: Yes, they will continue to connect to the internet in the same manner as always. This device is only intended to share a monitor and keyboard/mouse (or other USB devices) between otherwise independent computers.

A: You would be able to switch between the two devices using this ATEN CS64U 4-Port USB KVM Switch, by pressing the "HOT Keys" on your Keyboard.

A: The HDMI ports only support video. Audio would have be passed through via audio ports.

A: No, the IOGEAR 2-Port 4K KVM Switch does not support EDID.

I use the KVM in a computer repair business, it allows me to have just one monitor and keyboard/mouse and work on multiple computer at once. It has good connections and the cable setup is great. 5

Works just as expected based on the reviews I read. While some people might like the use of pressing a key sequence on the keyboard to change from one device to the other, I like just pressing a button. Yes, it is one extra cord but it is quite simple and it passes the wife test. No complains and it works with my wireless Logitech keyboard mouse combo. The wireless adapter only has one USB, but it still works correctly. All in all a great product for a great price. 5

This is a great KVM option for people who want to use a USB KVM switch without loading software. This is a simple pass-though device that works very reliably. It is also very easy to set-up. 5

Excelent product indicated for servers. I dont recommend it for desktop because it doesnt have audio feature. I use it with Dell Servers that use usb ports for mouse and keyboard. It didnt work the hot key to change of Pc on the linux, just with windows. On the linux it is necessary use the buttons on the hardware. 5

Built-in cables make the unit far less bulky. I really like that the actual button you press to switch between your computers/servers is small, discreet, and on a long cable. This allows you to hide all the ugly cables out of sight. Another bonus for my particular use is that you can use either the VGA, USB, or both, you don't need all the cables plugged in. 5

Could not be easier to set up right out of the box, and it works great: I have my monitor, wireless keyboard, and wireless mouse set to switch between two computers with just the click of a button. 5
