The CS1308 8-Port USB PS/2 KVM Switch with 8 USB Cables from ATEN allows you to control 8 computers from a single keyboard, mouse, and monitor, or, utilizing the 2-level cascade setup, up to 64 computers from the single console. A: You should be able to simply plug the monitor directly into the computer you want to have the display attached to and leave the keyboard and mice cables plugged in the KVM switch and to the attached PCs. I'm not sure why you would want to use the switch with no visible display unless you now have 2 monitors one for each PC and a single mouse and a single keyboard.
