A: According to the manufacturer, the physical size of the 105 watt lamps only allows for one of those lamps to be used in the one of the sockets at a time. For the physical size of the 85 watt lamp, that limits you to using two of them at a time. Using 50 watt lamps is largest physical lamp that will allow you to use four lamps at once.
