The black B6 Omnidirectional Lavalier Microphone, Standard Sensitivity, with Detachable Hirose 4-Pin Connector for Audio-Technica Wireless Transmitters from Countryman is a very small lav microphone measuring one tenth of an inch in diameter with changeable protective caps, which provide moisture resistance and color options. The mic can be used to capture audio for theater, broadcast, churches, and general lavalier applications.

Built with a low handling noise and rugged construction, the B6 lavalier microphone can be easily hidden in hair or on costumes, or taped to a performer's face. The aramid cable and ultra-thin diaphragm deliver a natural sound while its tiny size makes the B6 easy to position for ambient noise and feedback rejection. The B6's cable terminates to a Hirose 4-pin connector for direct connection to an Audio-Technica ATW-T1801, ATW-T27, ATW-T31, ATW-T51, ATW-T201, ATW-T210, ATW-T210a, ATW-T310, or ATW-T310b wireless bodypack transmitter for use with 200 Series, 1100 Series, 1400 Series, 1800 Series, 2000 Series, 2000A Series, 3000 Series, or 3000A Series wireless systems.

Additionally, swappable protective caps let you shape the frequency response for different situations or match other microphones. The B6 microphone is resistant to makeup, sweat, and moisture when used with the supplied protective caps. These caps can be quickly removed for cleaning or replacement.

Looks great when you want to see it, virtually disappears when you don't. The B6 is easily hidden in hair or on costumes, with five colors to match clothing, hair, and skin tones. Use a felt tip marker to color the white caps for near-perfect concealability. Never suffer the hassle and degraded sound quality of under-clothing miking again.

The B6 is resistant to makeup, sweat, and moisture when used with the supplied protective caps, and works well in hair or on the body. The protective caps are easily removed for cleaning or replacement, and the aramid-reinforced cable gives it world-class survivability.

The B6 provides high-quality audio with low distortion at SPL up to 140 dB on 48V phantom power. The aramid cable and thin diaphragm combine to offer low handling noise. The flat frequency response accurately captures voice or instruments, and the small size makes the B6 easy to position for ambient noise and feedback rejection.

Changeable protective caps let you shape the frequency response for different situations or to match other microphones. Versions are available for different speaking or singing styles, with high overload capability for recording instruments.

Standard, for most uses.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. If you have two of these, how do you record 4 outputs? Do you need buy external recorder?

A: Yes, A 4 channel recorder is needed to have 4 individual "tracks".

Q: 2. Can the mic (transmitter) be linked directly via bluetooth to a cell phone for example, without using the receiver unit?

A: No. The transmitter for the RODE Wireless GO II Compact Digital Wireless Microphone System/Recorder does not operate with Bluetooth. The only way to capture audio from the transmitter on a smartphone would be to connect the wireless receiver to the phone. If your phone has a USB-C connector, you can use the RODE SC16 Straight USB Type-C to Right-Angle USB Type-C Cable (B&H # ROSC16) and if you have an iPhone, you can use the RODE SC15 Lightning USB Type-C to Lightning Accessory Cable (B&H # ROSC15).

Q: 3. Will this record if I have a Rode Wireless Me?

A: When used for transmitting audio wirelessly, the RODE Wireless GO II TX Transmitter/Recorder is only compatible for use with the Wireless GO II Receiver. It will not transmit to a Wireless ME Receiver. The components for Wireless GO II and Wireless ME systems are not compatible for use together. However, if you want to use the RODE Wireless GO II TX Transmitter/Recorder to record audio only and not transmit audio wirelessly, then it does not require a wireless receiver.

Q: 4. I want to use this with iPhone X, and be able to charge the iPhone (via lightning cable) and monitor sound being recorded. Possible? If so, do you sell accessories required to do this?

A: You could try using the Apple Lightning to USB 3.0 Type-A Camera Adapter (B&H # APMK0W2AMA) which has a female USB Type-A port for the input, a female Lightning port for charging, and a male Lightning connector to plug into your iPhone. Connect the USB-C output from the Rode Wireless GO II Receiver to the female USB port on the Apple adapter using a USB Type-A to USB Type-C cable like those included with the Wireless GO II System. When using the USB-C output from the Wireless GO Receiver, the 3.5mm output will function as a headphone jack to monitor the audio while recording. This setup may provide a simple solution with all of the connections that you are looking for.

Q: 5. Does this unit capture 32 bit float?

A: Rode will publish something soon to shed some light about the Record vs. Export file formats and how it relates to 32 bit float export.

Q: 6. Do you know if purchasing two sets will cause interference with one another?

A: Depending on the envirnment you are in, you shouod be able to run two of these dual systems together without interference.

Q: 7. can i use headphones with this system?

A: No, the Rode Wireless GO II 2-Person Compact Digital Wireless Microphone System/Recorder does not have a dedicated headphone output connection. The receiver has a 3.5mm Mic level output for connecting to external devices, but this output would not work with headphone in the same way.

Q: 8. is the 3.5 mm output from the Receiver stereo (from each of the transmitters?)

A: The output connector on the Rode Wireless GO II receiver is 3.5mm TRS. The receiver can be set to send either stereo or dual mono output from both of the transmitters.

Q: 9. Can i record with the Zoom H6?

A: Yes on the Zoom H6 there is a 3.5mm jack input on the X/Y capsule thats included with the H6 you can connect The Rode Go there,.also you can buy a 3.5mm female to XLR male adapter that you can also use in one of the XLR port input on The Zoom and take adavantage of the mic preamps on the Zoom for a better quality of the audio recordings. Just keep in mind when your using The Rode Go II that you are connecting two mics into one input from the receiver into the Zoom H6 you will not be able to record seperate tracks for editing. But overall if you are using it that way monitor your audio from the Rode and Zoom to make sure the levels are properly set before recoring. And also if you need to edit audio The Rode Go can record seperate tracks for editing ,you just dont have that flexability on the Zoom H6.

Q: 10. Not being a pro sound guy so I'm trying to avoid Sennheiser products, I'm looking for solutions to these uses: First, will it work with BMPCC 4k-8k? 4k does not have a hot shoe. Second, I'm setting up podcasts with up to six speakers using different cameras. How can I configure this with Rode ll? I am using Black Magic Atem Mini Pro switcher that has four html inputs and 2 mic connects. At any rate, what about compatibility?

A: The Rode Go will plug into the Black Magic (or any compatible device) using the 3.5mm jack. However, If you plan on havng six microphones on set (the limit wth this system is 8) I recommend connecting the microphones into a mixer then taking the output of the mixer into the ATEM.

These are great Head Phones. They have the best noise cancellation function I've experienced so far. They are well built and sturdy. They sound very clear and bass response is very good. Frequency response is excellent and distortion is not existent. Not a whole lot of power is needed to drive them either. Sounds great on smart phones and tablets. The included cables are sufficiently long and an adapter is also included for plugging into a receiver. Although these phones could be a bit tight on someone with a large fit, I definitely recommend the ATH-M50x as a very good pair of head phones.

Great headphone overall. I think the tweaked high frequency notes in the 50x is a plus when listening to jazz music and vocal selections but may exhaust the ears when listening to rock and/or heavy metal over a long period.

The ear pads on these are harder and thinner than previous headphones I've used causing the bass is more pronunced.
The noise isolation is excellent.

The best headphones I have put on. I use them when recording with my zoom H6 and GH5. They also sound outstanding when listening to music.

Great monitor headphones and solidly built swappable wires.
Only have used the mic once, recording synth through guitar amp into Ableton via usb-c hub, some popping interference at first but the sound otherwise was great.
