A: You can connect the VariZoom VZ-PRO-L to the URSA Mini Pro 4.6K. However, the only thing you have control over is record on/off. A LANC controller cannot zoom any lens with this camera. The easiest set up with this camera that allows pan handle zoom control is if you use a B4 mount and a B4 mount ENG zoom lens. You can plug the lens into the Hirose plug on the camera and use a separate zoom control for that make and model of zoom lens.

Q: 3. Does this work with the Blackmagic Design Studio 4k cameras? currently I have a Manfrotto RC Pan Bar EX Remote and it works but looking for a control for a handheld setup I want to make using this camera.

A: The BMD Studio Camera 4K has a LANC input, which is why your Manfrotto RC Pan Bar EX remote is able to work with it. This controller has a LANC connection again and should also work with that camera.

A: No. This is only compatible with ENG lenses and does not support "Cine" servos.

A: We have not come across any such LANC adapters, as this is explicitly designed for pairing with the Fujinon Pro Lenses series and its 8-pins carry signal information that cannot be adapted for LANC.

A: This is not compatible with the A7SII. This will only work with LANC compatible cameras. It will work with the XF305, but it will not work with an A7SII.

Q: 10. How effective is the manual focus. I have a controller now that has two buttons to adjust focus, but it adjust so slowly, to be basically unusable for animated talent. The old twist handle to manual focus were the best.

A: Personally I never use that focus button .. It's more effective to hand focus slightly at event shooting, at least u know which way to turn for further or closer focus .. There are only 3 things that I like this remote 1/ super slow zoom, 2/ fix zoom speed 3/ the recording light on the remote
