The Standard Studio Knob from Vocas is a separate focus knob for the MFC-2 and MFC-6 follow focus systems. It is made from industrial plastic material and has a standard follow focus accessory attachment.

Q: 1. Will it work with the standard Fuji lenses (not the cine versions)?

A: This device works reasonably well with cine lenses IF you set it up properly so that the gears align. It's Not the greatest follow focus, but it's good for the price. The adjustable band/belt Christopher R. refers to, does come with the unit. Personally, I'd be reluctant to use it, my ground is that I had to fiddle with the adjustments quite a bit in order for it to work properly and not try to move the lenses around or slip, you could try it. If you intend on getting cine lenses in the future it's definitely a workable device.

Q: 2. I bought this, but it does not include the side mount highlighted in the pictures. Where do I find it?

Q: 3. What other drive focus gears are compatible?

A: This follow focus has the cine standard of 0.8 pitch gearing. It will mesh with any cine gear lens in the world.

Q: 5. Does this fit the bolex 16 ,rex1-2 model?

A: The SmallRig F40 mini Follow Focus is designed to be a universal follow focus that can be used when mounted on 15mm rods with cinema, mirrorless or DSLR cameras. Considering the design of the Bolex 16 and the age of the camera, the follow focus would not be compatible.

Q: 6. Can extra marking disks be purchased separately?

Q: 7. Will this wok with the new Panasonic 50mm 1.8? Will it mount on other cages besides Small Rig?

A: Attach the snap-on focus gear ring and the Smallrig Mini Follow Focus becomes compatible with any lens. This unit attaches to any 15mm rod.

Q: 8. Will this work with a tilta handle?

A: The Manfrotto Gimbal Follow Focus Motor only works with the Manfrotto MVG220 and MVG460 Gimbals.

Q: 9. Could you please recommend a speed crank that fits well on the Axler follow focus? I purchased the LanParte crank but I'm returning it because it's too large/fat to insert into the Axler.

A: Cavision offers the RFSC-4 Follow Focus Speed Crank Lever, BH #CARFSC4. This should work very well with the Follow Focus system. https://bhpho.to/2pzCo7D

Q: 10. Is the focusing gear reversible to the opposite side, so you can have opposite function?

A: No, this does not reverse the wheels. Nikkor lens shooters will have to look elsewhere.

This is our 3rd Brother printer. We like the features of these printers like double sided printing, duplex scanning, and most of all...new with this one...ink saver feature. We use it on a Mac network. Works great. 5

I read many reviews before purchasing the MFC-L8900CDW. I compared it to HP, Canon Lexmark and even Epson. But none of them came close to this price point for the amount fo functionality this MFC brings. Take it from me, I used to sell printers many years ago and was even a sales rep for Epson. I also think that the cost of the toners is one of the better ones out there. the print quality is great and the PPM is great. My favorite feature so far though is the multipage feeder for scanning a lot of documents. 5
