Styled in a white finish, the Genelec 8350A is a single SAM-Series, 2-way active studio monitor designed to provide accurate mix referencing with extended low frequencies and software control capabilities for audio engineers, musicians, and producers in project studios, medium- to large-sized control rooms, commercial facilities, or mastering rooms. It features 350W of Class-D amplification driving an 8” woofer and a 1” tweeter, producing a frequency response of 33 Hz to 22 kHz.

A proprietary waveguide enhances imaging, while the bass reflex port extends the low-frequency response. The die-cast aluminum enclosure is shaped to minimize diffraction and reflections. XLR connectors are provided for the balanced analog input and AES/EBU digital input and output. Built-in signal overload protection enhances dependability and protects the speaker. Rear-panel room compensation controls include levels and high- and low-frequency adjustments. Detailed frequency adjustments and automatic calibration can be performed via GLM (Genelec Loudspeaker Manager) software and the GLM User Kit (available separately). A selectable power-saving mode enables automatic power up/down via a signal-sensing circuit.

The 8350A offers multiple mounting options including an Iso-Pod isolation stand and threaded holes that are compatible with select K&M mounts and various wall/ceiling brackets.

Q: 4. would this hold a greenscreen?

A: This is a very solid stand that can bear a good bit of weight, especially if you use sandbags to counter any uneven loads. I don't know exactly what kind of green screen you have in mind, but two of these stands and some sort of crossbar would certainly hold a roll of green seamless paper.

Q: 5. Can this be used as a backdrop stand and is there a suitable crossbar that could go with this that is also made of durable material so that there is no bowing in the middle when the stand is fully extended and holding weight ten feet across?

A: I use these for background stands, but I attached a Superclamp to the baby pin at the top and then use a piece of 10 foot conduit, that is clamped into the Superclamp, I picked up the electrical conduit from Home Depot or Lowes in their electrical departments. The electrical conduit is NOT collapsible but is it available in various sizes for backgrounds with pockets and they typically will not bow unless you hang a LOT of weight from them.

Q: 6. Does this come with screws

A: Yes it comes with 4 screws.

Q: 7. What is the diameter of the lowest riser pole?

A: Its about 1 1/8th inches.

Q: 8. Can you view multiple cameras at once? If so how many?

A: This monitor will only display one image at a time. It does not offer a multi-viewer.

Q: 9. What are the outside dimensions of this case?

A: 10 at the tallest point x 9.5 at the widest point x 4 at the deepest point. Just happened to have a tape measure by the computer.

Q: 10. Will this hold a kino flo diva lite 400?

A: This stand can hold a Kino Diva 400.

WhiBal G7 Studio Card 1706 21 All still images are recorded in Raw . I have 3 of these cards. 2- I use in the field, 1- is kept in the office and use for calibration of my Neutral Density filters. Normally I record 3 images Establishing shot, Medium shot, Close up shot. with the lens I am going to use on a project without the Neutral Density filter. Then I place the B+W 3.0 ND filter on the front of the lens. Using the XUME magnetic adapter and filter holders System. This allows me to visually compose the image, Record a baseline image, and then make the exposure adjustments that will accomplish the end image I desire. For General in the field photography I record an image at the start of the shoot of the WhiBal G7 Studio Card with the same illumination falling on the card as falling on the subject I am going to record. For this I use the Wimberley The Plamp II 23 inch flexible arm purchased from B&H. For lenses longer than 100 mm I normally clip or stand the card on a fence, edge of the window, or spring clip it in a position that receives the same illumination as the subject matter I plan to record. In post-processing, in the White Balance section of the application I I use the eyedropper to read the WhiBal G7 Studio Card. Then I read the RGB reflecting off the card and if needed adjust the numbers so there 2 on all three readings. In post-processing I will read the Neutral area, the White area, and the Black area. Then I will batch process the White Balance for the images selected for use in the project. To some of you this may seem over board. I come from a scientific background were both accuracy, and repeatability is required. For the attached images I use the following targets as controls. Purchased from B&H. TEST TARGETS: DKC-Pro 5x7 6 gray - 12 colors , WhiBal G7 5-15/16th x 3 -7/17th card N-G, B, W
