A: No,; the meter operates on the Strato II frequencies.

Q: 4. there is a center pin inside the jack on my wk3300. I bought what I thought was the right adapter, but the plug end has a center pin also.?what adapter do I need???

A: My adapter was used for a particular piano. It all depends on what you are using your adapter for. You must find the right adapter for the wk3300.

Q: 5. Can I mount a Siros L on the back of it, like on a regular softbox?

A: No, due to the construction of the Siros L, the Para 88 reflector cannot be mounted to the front of the lamp.

Q: 6. Can i mount an Einstein or a Bowens strobe on this unit ?

A: I do not believe so, the focusing rod adapter that connects the the light to the focusing rod only works with a broncolor light. But I think you could use one of your lights in the rear of the Para 88 with a speed ring made for one of your strobe lights, but you would lose the focusing control. Q: 7. In the second photo above, there is a light mounted from the back like a regular softbox. Does that mean you can put Siros or other broncolor lights considering they all have the same front mount. Someone above (dan) has said that you cant. Can this point be clarified please?

A: According to the overview, "this version of the [Broncolor Para 88] is rear-firing and has an F-type rod, meaning that its optional flash head points in towards the back of the reflector. Those looking for front firing should purchase the FT rod or a kit that comes with it." Unfortunately, it seems those items/kits are no longer available with us.

Q: 8. If I understand how these work, they just interpret the optical slave information into radio frequency, send the info to the receiver which then interprets it back into optical info. If that's the case, can this be used with Sony?

A: I'm using these with Nikon and the SU-800 commander and SB-910 and 800 speedlights. They do solve the problem of triggering flashes when the unit cannot see other units. There are several choices to do this. The advantage of this unit is that you can also change the output of the speedlights in the mix because that's what the commander unit does. I am not sure what functionality is provided by Sony. If you're only tring to trigger the flashes and not control the output then I would choose something from pocket wizard. The new Nikon speedlights have radio control built in eliminating the need for all of this.

Q: 9. Aside the Pulso Head adapter is there something else I should consider buying? Like this Focusing Device 33.504.00 for example. Is it necessary?

A: No additional items besides the Para Adapter for Pulso is required for operation of the para, however, accessory diffusion or light grids could be considered.
