A: No, the Matthews Super Mafer Clamp with Baby (5/8") Pin does not include wedge inserts or any baby pins.

A: Hi Craig, Thank you Charles!.. ALL Spider pin's ballhead diameter are the same and so all pins will work with ALL Spider Holsters. It is the bottom of the pins that is NOT the same. The SpiderLight system is using our new Anti-Twist design. That design will not allow for the pin to turn and thus it will never de-thread from the Spider plate by accident. The SpiderLight pin in turn, can not be attached directly to the bottom of your camera. It needs the Spider plate.The black widow pin WILL engage/attach to any camera (or other device that uses 14/20 thread). A: That's a rather personal question :) (Monty Python)I think this is the same pin that I am lholding right now. There are a couple of versions.Total length is 3-3/4 . Actual round pin above the hex is 2-3/4 . Most baby pins are usually 2-4 long.If you need a longer one, I think Matthews has a 6 with a collar, so it doesn't slip though the gobo head, when used upside down. Good to have one, or two in the grip kit.

Solid, compact, easy to install. This clamp held my Genaray Mini Moon all night, even though the stand held a computer with a touch screen that guests were constantly touching. High quality and stores perfectly into the outside pocket of the Genaray bag. 5

Used it on a shoot to hold pocket lights. These clamps are really sturdy and they come with a spigot too. So no problem here. Bigger and heavier than I would want, but they are perfect for mounting on beams and poles, etc. 5

In the past, I have purchased what I felt were inexpensive clamp and mount options from other companies. However, after watching a Youtube video where someone used one of these clamps to hold their Aputure 60x light, I had to give this a try myself. The price of this clamp with the pin came out to only slightly higher than some of those less expensive options; however, I would easily pass 50% more for this clamp given all that it can do. The creative options really open up when you receive one of these - especially considering the small triangular block included, which makes mounting to square/flat tables or doors much more secure. I would highly recommend giving this a try if you're in the market for a clamp that can easily hold your DSLR/mirrorless camera, small light fixture, or mics. 5
