The 8-Input Presentation Matrix Switcher/Scaler with Seamless Video Cuts and 4K30 Output Support from Kramer can be configured as a single 4K output or dual HD scaler with full PiP capabilities. It can scale to two independent HDMI outputs, each with a parallel HDBaseT output. The VP-778 includes both analog and embedded audio inputs and outputs, and audio DSP features. It also offers two microphone inputs and digital & analog balanced stereo line-level outputs, and amplified speaker outputs. Control the unit via the front panel buttons, dedicated web page, IR commands, or RS-485 or RS-232 serial commands transmitted by a touch-screen system, computer, or other serial controller.

A: I'm afraid not. The Datavideo SE-1200MU accepts 1080i at 50, 59.94 and 60fps along with 720p at 50, 59.94 and 60fps.

A: Yes, you can. I use the HDR-1 to record from the 1200MU. There are 2 HDMI outputs, one for Multi-View and one is assignable. You assign the second HDMI out to be Program and record both audio and video from there.

A: Luis:There are two ways you can bring in live graphics (lower-thirds). 1. Since SE-1200 does have chroma key and luma key, you can bring in a video source from you laptop and key in a graphic using a program such as PowerPoint or Word. 2. SE-1200 also has a DSK (or down stream keyer). Datavideo offers the TC-200 (I think around $700 on B&H site), which includes software for your PC laptop. This will allow you to bring in the video using on the downstream of your production. Upstream is also possible. Both solutions would require a laptop, but both are easy to set-up. A: The SE-1200MU is designed to be fully controlled from any Windows Laptop/PC and Android tablet, iPad or Mac with the included SE-1200 software control panel. Datavideo does not make a control surface for it, the RS422 port is for integration with Crestron Control Panels.

A: The Data Video SE-1200 MU supports these HD video signals: "1080i/50, 1080i/59.94, 1080i/60 and 720p/50, 720p/59.94, 720p/60" which can be output via HDMI or SDI. HDMI 1 and The SDI outputs can be configured for either program out, preview and multi view. HDMI 2 will always be a multiview.
