A: The Xtreme 2 does not have an input for a microphone and was not designed to be used with a mic. The USB port is for charging only and the wired 1/8" (3.5mm) aux input is not for use with a microphone. However, you could work around these limitations and connect the mic to a computer, then use the computer's Bluetooth to send the audio output from the computer to the Xtreme 2, or use the computer's headphone output to connect to the Xtreme 2's wired 1/8" (3.5mm) aux input.

A: The compatibility chart for this gimbal states the electronic focus is possible with the GH5 when connected through a cable. You would not need the follow focus system unless you were using manual focus lenses with the camera. You will be able to control Auto Focus lenses from the Gimbal electronically.
