This Cable Technologies CT-LPS33-24W is a low-profile LPXLR-3F to TA3F cable designed to connect Lectrosonics UCR-type receivers into Sound Devices mixer/recorders like the 633, 688, 788T, and more. Colored white for easy distinguishing, the cable uses low-profile XLR connectors, with an adjustable outlet that lets you set the orientation to the left or right of the release pin. These features allow for multiple placement possibilities, all while reducing the visible profile of interconnect panels. This results in a less cluttered look all around.

The cable diameter is relatively slim at 2.7mm, though its flexible polyurethane jacket is crush resistant, tear-resistant, and resistant to cold weather. This cable measures 24" in length.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Can i run this off a usb power bank? ... if so where can i find the 2.5mm power to usb port cable?

A: The USB power bank has to have an output of 7.4 volts or more. If it is a standard 5vdc usb output, it will not work. Your camera requires 7.4vdc to operate.

Q: 2. How do I adjust the round joint nearest the mic mount? I can't get it to move at all. I don't mean the knob near the mic connector, but rather the piece with the round black circle on the outside at the other end of that segment

A: That joint is not adjustable. The angle of the mic would be adjusted with the locking screw.

Q: 3. Does this work with the Sony A6500

A: Yes it should. The A6500 uses the same battery as the NP-FW50 style battery as the cameras listed, it should work as well.

Q: 4. does the battery door stay open while you are shooting ?

A: The door on the camera has a rubber plug that you can remove in order to pass the dummy battery cable through to close the door. So yes the door on the camera will be closed when using this dummy battery.

Q: 5. Does this regulate voltage to a safe 7.6V from Vmount batteries of 14.4V?

A: I have been using it for a few weeks now with no issues attached to Nano 14.8V vmount batteries.

Q: 6. Will this work with the power pod 14.4 volt station and covert to the appropriate 7.2 volts or should I use the 7.2 volt power pod?

A: You can do either way. However, I think I would lean to the two battery 7.2 because you get the ability to hot swap out a dead battery.

Q: 7. How to return

A: If you wish to return or exchange within 30 days of purchase from B&H, please contact our Customer Service department. Please see the following link. https://bhpho.to/2caRE5L

Q: 8. I was looking for an external battery / portable charger to power my A7R2 in the field when shooting extended timelapse series. I see the voltage range of this adapter, but what is a recommended amperage range? Additionally, can anyone recommend a good battery that isn't too large that might get the job done?

A: I Cut the DC coupler/connector off the end and connected this to a lawnmower battery for a 9 hour long overnight timelapse with my sony a7s2. Readying the output voltage with a meter from a standard fully charged sony battery, and the output voltage from this adapter attached to the lawnmower battery, both voltages were the same. I have had no issues since with this setup and have used it many times now. If it works with a 12v lawnmower battery, I'm sure you will be fine with whatever battery you use, Just be sure to check the voltages from the adapters output before plugging it into your camera for the first time to make sure everything stays stable and steady and that you dont have a defective adapter.

Q: 9. Do you know where this product is manufactured?

A: The country of origin for this O.C. White ProBoom Ultima Gen2 Ultralow-Profile Adjustable Mic Boom without Mount, would be the USA.

Q: 10. Can you attach a USC Plug and use a wall outlet to use the battery?

A: Yes, The ZILR USB Type-C to Sony NP-FZ100 Regulated Dummy Battery Cable could be used with USB wall power adapters.
