A: The yoke does not pivot up or down (vertically) but the My 1X1 Dracast light does pivot down about 22 degrees within the yoke before barn doors start blocking light, 45 degrees max. Also the yoke has a second mounting hole (front to back) that lets you mount it horizontally. The light will point straight down without interference.

The two compatible plates Tilta offers come with the Hydra Alien car mounting system and the arca/manfrotto plate that comes with the Tilta 15mm LWS Arca Manfrotto Dual Baseplate and Tilta Lightweight Shoulder Rig.
