A: The maximum number of headsets that can be used with your system is five -- one master and four remote headsets. So you can add one more remote headset with your system. For a system with six wireless headsets, you would need to use the Eartec HUB Mini Duplex Transceiver Base - USA (B&H # EAHUB). The HUB would replace the master headset in your existing system. It functions as the master controller and can accommodate one wired headset and up to eight wireless UltraLITE headsets. Since you already have three remote headsets, you would need to purchase three additional remote headsets to have a total of six wireless headsets with the HUB (one of the remote headsets is to replace your master headset, plus the two remote headsets you want to add).

Q: 2. Can i pair a older UltraLITE remote to a newer UltraLITE HD main? I can't get the older UltraLite into pair mode where it's blinking blue/red.

A: You may need to clear the main headset before you can pair the remote headset. A: All current Ultrlite headphones are the black colored HD version. 5-person systems can still operate without the additon of a hub. A hub wil allow for up to a 9-person system.

A: Yes, the AU versions from Eartec can be used in New Zealand.

A: Yes, if you are using a 4-person Eartec UltraLITE system that has one master headset and 3 remote headsets, you can add an additional remote headset and program it to work with the master headset. This type of system with one master headset can be used with up to 4 remote headsets for a maximum of 5 users. If you need to expand the system for more than 5 users, you can purchase the Eartec HUB Mini Duplex Transceiver Base (B&H # EAHUB) which will replace the master headset (the electronics in the master headset provide the same type of functions as the HUB), and you can use up to 8 wireless remote headsets and one wired headset that will connect directly to the HUB for a total of 9 users.
