If the computer like MacBook uses USB-C port to power the laptop then the MacBook power cable gets connected to the hub and the USB-C connector of the hub gets connected to the MacBook in order to power the MacBook and the hub. A: Probably not. Thunderbolt is a superset of USB-C; they use the same physical connector, but they're not exactly the same (Thunderbolt is faster, for one thing). This EZQuest hub doesn't provide Thunderbolt ports, so if your device (eGPU) requires Thunderbolt, it probably won't work plugged in to the EZQuest.
