Q: 1. Is there a similar product that will allow me to connect to a separate video monitor while recording to a MacBook. So is there one with two outputs?

A: Consider the UltraStudio HD Mini

Q: 2. can you connect the to a power pack like the ones used to charge phones and camera via USB?

Q: 3. Can the LUT6 cage work on this?

Q: 4. Hi, I want to know if this monitor works with a Panasonic AG-HPX370P camera (ENG type)?

A: Yes this monitor will work with the HD/SDI output of the 370.It is a great little monitor but I find the color rendition runs a bit green.

Q: 5. What is the difference between using this device and having an HDMI directly from the computer to a monitor ?

A: The UltraStudio Monitor 3G 3G-SDI/HDMI Playback Device allows for real-time monitoring while editing video to either a TV or Production monitor, offering both pro/consumer based HDMI and Professional-grade option of SDI. This would be outputting a video stream rather than mirroring a computer display as you would HDMI from computer to a computer monitor.

Q: 6. What software is recommended to capture the video at 1080p on a Mac?

A: The Ultrastudio Recorder comes with software for capturing video on your computer. It is also compatible with tons of 3rd party software such as Wirecast.

A: The Desview R7SIII 7" Ultra-High Bright 1080p Touchscreen Monitor with 4K60 HDMI/3G-SDI I/O covers 100% DCI-P3 coverage. However, Desview does not provide a calibration report with the display.

Q: 9. Only works with 60 fps sequences in Premiere and Avid?! Is it because I'm using an HDMI cable? Does it mean I have to buy an SDI to HDMI converter for my HDTV to show any framerate?

A: Thanks for your replies! Meanwhile I tried multiple things. I'm writing this in case someone have the same problem in the future. I have no idea why, but after installing the latest version of Resolve, and started brand new projects (tried Premiere and Avid) on my local drive, it finally works! 23,98 sequences are playing now. Still having minor issues with 29,97 sequences, but it's already way better!

Q: 10. Is there a way to mount this without the arm? Is the arm removable?

A: You can elect not to attach the arm to the ANDYCINE C6 6" HDMI Ultrabright Touchscreen Monitor. You can then mount via either of the two 1/4" threads on the bottom or right side.
