A: Do any of the responders own one? I use an Asus 87AC as my main router. Best I've ever had, but FULL signal was still an issue in some rooms and full signal makes a difference when streaming to Rokus and Google's Nexus Player. I added this mesh point. It was easy to install, it doesn't split the SSID up causing the user to have to manually control network handover. TL;DR No reason it shouldn't work unless Apple has somehow sabotaged it. My current router is great, but the suitable additional mesh point had made my home WiFi network even better. If I move to a larger house I will definitely purchase more of these. A: Depending if the buildings are extremely close this can be possible. However if you are sending it a considerable distance a Point to Point system from Ubiquiti might perform better.

A: I currently use a Comcast router. I went into the Comcast router and set it to bridge mode. I then connect the Amplifi router from the WAN port on the Amplifi to one of the ports on Comcast router. I then configed all of my router settings and wifi via the Amplify unit.
