Q: 1. Im using this lens on my inspire 2 (x5s) with balancing rings , my question is , if I was to add a filter to the lens do I install it on both balancing rings or remove one and add a filter in its place , last question what filter would you guys recommend thread size 37 mm , i got 3 so far but most of them are fat but weight same a regular filter . What would u guys do or recommend thx

A: I have that lens on an Inspire 1, which was an upgrade from a Phantom 4+, which was an upgrade from a 3DR Solo. The only filters I have used on any of the flying platforms have been ND, and then only to lower the capture speed. Frankly, I think you can live without it. You can get a kitchen scale and compare the weight of the filter and the balance rings. Close is good enough IMHO for balance.

Q: 2. Will this work with the Black Magic Ursa? What is the power source? Will it work on an EF mount?

A: It works well on my Black Magic Pocket Cinema Camera with the MFT mount. The camera knows how to activate the IS while recording. I use the on-lens zoom controls. Power is through the normal mount connectors. I don't know if you can get an EF adaptor whch would pass the signals.

Q: 3. How to change charger plate?

A: The Plate slides out, and snaps back in.

Q: 4. Is there a way to use this with my canon R8 if I have and EF adapter?

A: Unfortunately it is not possible to use Panasonic Lumix G X Vario PZ 14-42mm f/3.5-5.6 Power O.I.S. Lens (Black) on a Canon R8, even with an adapter it won't work.

Q: 5. what is the size of the barrel connection?

A: The barrel size is not listed as this part is specifically designed for the Canon XF705 only. If you have the XF705, this will work.

Q: 6. Is this compatible with a Nikon COOL PIX S6900 camera (EN-EL 19 3.7V 700mAh 2.6Wh)?

A: Yes, This Watson battery charger is compatible with the Nikon EN-EL19 battery that works with the Nikon Coolpix S6900.

Q: 7. Does this lens work with the Panasonic Lumix g7?

A: Have no idea, bought it for the x5s.

Q: 8. How do you use this lens with graduated filters?

A: I used it without any additional filters.. it fit well with the Blackmagic pocket cinema camera.I suppose one can get micro 4-3 adapters and some converters to hook up your filter.I liked the lens.. the balck magic camera still was not fully integrated ( a few controls did not work).when you shut off the power the lens did not retract fully.... This is not the lens problem but the camera problem.

Q: 9. Can I use manual focus with Olympus om D cameras?

A: Yes, one can manually focus the Panasonic Lumix G X Vario PZ 14-42mm f/3.5-5.6 ASPH. POWER O.I.S. Lens by using the lever on the side of the lens for focusing. This can be done on Olympus cameras as well.

Q: 10. is this a power zoom lens?

A: Yes
