The red DM1 Dynamite Active In-Line Microphone Preamplifier from sE Electronics is an active preamp intended to be inserted between a passive ribbon or dynamic microphone and a microphone preamplifier (sold separately). It can be used to deliver a robust 28 dB of gain to boost the audio signal of a passive mic, which improves the level through the preamplifier without adding noise or coloration.

With a sophisticated Class-A design and high-grade FETs, the DM1 has a low self noise. It is built with a dedicated output buffer amplifier allowing it to drive long cable runs and reduce RF interference, buzz, and hum. Additionally, the DM1 Dynamite Active In-Line Microphone Preamplifier offers a roadworthy, slim, all-metal design, ensuring reliable operation for onstage applications in difficult environments. The unit features standard 3-pin XLR connectors and requires 48V phantom power for operation.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Will this cable work with H1 Zoom and my Canon SL1?

A: It sure will.

Q: 2. Thoughts on using this cable to connect a GH4 and Zoom H1n?

A: While this would work for connecting the headphone out of the H1n to a mic input on the GH4, you would lose the ability to monitor from the recorder. Here's another attenuator cable that gives you a separate headphone output B&H # KOACH425MON.

Q: 3. Can multiple devices be linked together to play synchronized audio from a single source?

A: No they cannot.

Q: 4. Is it possible for me to use this with a 3.5mm extension cable?

A: I use this with a 3.5mm extension cable all the time to connect a Tascam recorder to my Canon 70D. Works great.

Q: 5. compatible with Canon C100 MKII?

A: The C100 MKII does have a 3.5mm audio input so this attenuator should work on it. Not sure if the C100 has mic-level impedance on that jack or not. It likely does.

Q: 6. Does this cable work with Canon 5D mark III? Cheers

A: My advice. It doesn't matter. Don't record sound onto your dslr. The audio on the h4n will always be better than the in camera audio. Invest is a good shotgun mic, an xlr cable and a boom pole.

Q: 7. Does the earpiece have latex ?

A: no

Q: 8. Looking for a way to have speakers plugged into my laptop...but not directly connected. Blue tooth speakers are out for power reason. So want to connect between laptop and receiver. Is this what this does?

A: Yes, you can either connect to the WXC-50 with Bluetooth or wifi (on same network) from the laptop and then output to your receiver using output jacks (RCA type) or optical link. The WXC-50 also enables you to access many streaming music / internet radio sources directly.

Q: 9. Is the printing software included with this printing Bravo se3 ??

A: Yes, the Primera Bravo SE-3 AutoPrinter comes with PT Publisher software to design and print disc labels.

Q: 10. Does it come with antenna?

A: Yes, the antenna for the wireless connection is included.
