The Axler RECODO 11" Arm with 1/4"-20 to 3/8"-16 Anti-Twist Fitting is a flexible 11.8" long arm for attaching and positioning available accessories to your camera or accessory mounting point. It features a 1/4"-20 threaded stud on one end, and a 3/8"-16 threaded stud with an integrated anti-twist fitting. It is machined from anodized aluminum for strength, and features three points of articulation that tighten and loosen using a single locking twist handle.

The ends of the arm are set into ball joints, with each joint providing swivel and lockable position adjustment. Each end features a rubber-topped platform that the threaded stud extends out of, and a thumbwheel that allows you to tighten your accessory on the mount.

When the arm is loose, the center pivot and both ball joint ends are flexible and can be moved to almost any position. Tightening the center twist lock tightens the center pivot as well as both ball ends at the same time.

The center pivot features two facing rosettes that provide a secure friction source to prevent the arms from slipping.

The built-in anti-twist fitting on the 3/8"-16 mounting block consists of two arcs with an inside space of 0.79", and is compatible with Manfrotto's Easy-Link system. It can mount on threaded bars with 3/8"-16 threaded holes, such as those found on camera cages, as long as the bars are no more than 0.79" wide.

A: Haven't tried that (i use it 4 a 7 monitor) but it might not B heavy duty enough for another full rig. Joints & fittings are sturdy & tight, tho; it IS hi quality.

A: It works up to 7lb so it should work. When you put the weights on the bottom, the whole unit gets heavy too hold out in front of you.

A: It depends on the weight of your monitor and the weight of your camera. If the monitor is mounted directly to the head with the Manfrotto arm, or you mount the monitor directly to the camera via a cheese plate or on a rail, the combo should not exceed 15 lbs.

A: I won't do it. With that camera you will be way more happy with a shoulder stabilizer or at least 2 hands stabilizer. I have a Dslr and it was not what a thought it will be. It's just fine.
