$239.97 $359.95

The Tiffen 67mm Satin Filter can be applied to purposely reduce the appearance of blemishes and wrinkles. This can be useful for creating a more flattering result of a subject while highlights are softened, contrast is reduced, and textures are given a smoother appearance. Additionally, a halation effect around highlights is created which can further enhance a subject's appearance or produce a desired effect while overall sharpness is maintained.

This filter has a grade of 2. Grades of 1 and 3 are also available where this filter type's effect becomes approximately twice as strong with each grade number increase.

This filter is constructed from water white glass for increased clarity as well as color fidelity. It is made using ColorCore technology, a process that involves laminating the filter substrate between 2 pieces of optical glass and grinding flat to a tolerance of 1/10,000th of an inch, and then mounting to precision metal rings.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. If I purchase the Polarizer Filter do I need the UV Filter also?

A: Charles;A polarizer is only good for certain times (there is no use at night for a polarizing filter or indoors), while a UV can be kept on day or night, indoors or out. Not only does it serve as a haze reducer, it is also a good protector for the front lens element.

Q: 2. Can this also be used on an underwater housing?

A: Of course. I am using it on the sony housing.

Q: 3. Where are these made?

A: Hi, Japan is the country of origin for these filters.

Q: 4. Is it affective?

A: Yes, this filter works very well to reduce light pollution and produce cleaner sharper images.

Q: 5. hI, will this work on nikon p900? if so, will I have to modify the camera..thanks

A: This lens is designed for SLR and DSLR cameras.

Q: 6. Does it work with the iphone 15 pro max?

A: The Moment 67mm Phone Filter Mount BH #MO67PFM will fit the Apple iPhone 15 Pro Max.

Q: 7. Will this filter work on a Fuji XE 2?

A: No it will not Infrared Filters are not made for digital cameras , all digital cameras have IR blocking filter and this filter blocks the other visible light

Q: 8. Does this particular filter downgrade image sharpness in any way vs. not using a filter at all?

A: Technically, any glass layer in a lens system scatters light and decreases sharpness. However, the reality is good filters will not affect sharpness to any degree you can see. Frankly, other factors such as camera shake, focus, subject movement, aperture, lighting and contrast have far greater influence on image sharpness than a quality filter such as this one.

Q: 9. Is the filter ring made of brass or aluminum?

A: The ZEISS UV and POL filter housings are made from aluminum.

Q: 10. Is it hype, or are these filters, indeed, easier to clean?

A: Yes it is easier to clean these filters, I also use a lenspen, and like the other guy stated not that often. But the Main reason I bought my three 77mm HD3 UV's was because it is three times harder to scratch then my lenses glass. So they are Protecting 5400. dollars worth of glass! And I think that the 128. dollars each (x3= 384.) is well Worth the price that I was Gladly Willing to Pay! And I am completely Happy with them. They do Exactly what the manufacture says they will do! So buy it, you will Not regret it!
