Q: 7. It says that it is not to be used with a ''hot light'', but I use Bowens Gemini flashes and their model lights are 250w Halostar E27 and I also have 500W E11 model lights.Is it dangerous to use this softbox with those flashes?

A: A 250 watt modeling light is fine. It is not designed for higher and should not be used with a 500 watt modeling lamp.Note, with any softbox one should keep an eye on it for safety when using a quartz modeling lamp.Quartz modeling lamps higher than 250 watts the Duo version of the softbox should be used.

A: It is doable but not practical, it's a little on the small side. I use that particular model for my Fuji X100, where it's just right. I would suggest going with the regular Arca Swiss system, I use a Really Right Stuff L-Plate which I just leave on the camera.

A: It depends a little bit on your style and how powerful your lights are, but for bust portraits of individuals the 24 x 32 should be fine. The 36 x 48 is going to be more of a full lenth or group shot size. In either event, be sure to add a grid for finer control.
