I am really impressed with the quality and speed that this scanner provides. It scans both sides of the documents with a single pass, it saves time not having to scan them individually. This is very easy to set up and use, the driver that is included with this allows it to work smoothly with any software. The size of the scanner is great, perfect size to move around to wherever it's needed!
I love that I am able to upgrade to the accounting edition. I am very unorganized, so the upgrade helps me keep all my important receipts and papers organized and easily accessible. Now that I have used this scanner, I don't know how I managed without it!

The Epson WorkForce ES-865 is small but mighty for an at home scanner. You can easily set this up following the provided instructions in a matter of minutes. This scanner is compact but it gets the job done for sure. It scans at a quick pace and produces a very high quality picture in no time. I use my mainly for work since I am now working mainly remotely now due to the pandemic and it has been a godsend. I have attached to emails to co-workers and I have had no issues and best of all no complaints.
The scanner defaults to 200 dpi image but you can adjust this to your liking as well. The software you install, Epson ScanSmart is easy to learn so you can become better acquainted with your scanner so you can use it for more things such as a document archiver to reduce your paper in your home. It also has the capabilities to scan on both sides as well.
All in all I am very happy with the Epson WorkForce ES-865 Color Scanner in my home office. This is a great addition to my Epson printer. It gets the job done and it hasn't let me down. I would definitely say that this workforce scanner is amazing it is super fast and very effective and efficient. What I really like about it was from the beginning I thought it was very easy to set up and followed the directions. It worked right away without having to research or do anything other than just set up. I also like the fact that the size is perfect for my small Home Office. It's very compact but powerful exactly what I needed for working from home. I definitely feel like it's very simple to use and gets the job done with little effort.

One of the really cool things about it is that it's able to do double sided in a single pass meaning that you can scan both sides easily and also very quickly. But I also think it's great for saving documents to my computer or scanning things into my computer to save for later. If you are looking for a way to quickly scan numerous documents, then the ES-865 Color Duplex Scanner is the absolute best on the market. I've owned other scanners and this is absolutely beyond fast. The ES-865 can scan 65 ppm at 300 dpi and can scan both sides in a single pass. Fully load the document feeder (100 pages) and then they are scanned in less than 2 minutes. You're able to scan business cards and ID cards. It also has a Slow Speed Mode for delicate scans. This a great addition for virtual schooling as it saves time by not having to take a picture of the work and then submit it. Easily scan and post. Time saver equals happy Dad!

I want to start off saying that I love this scanner. It is one of the easiest scanners I have worked with. It comes with step by step instructions for installing the Epson ES-865 program. It is also very simple to put together. This scanner is compatible with windows 10. I was able to put about 8 pieces of paper, at once, to be scanned. It gives you options for one sided and double sided. It was a window on the scanner that also helps you set your your scanner or cancel pending scans. I am a stay at home mom with tons of school paper work and other important papers I tend to lose track of. I absolutely love this scanner and I recommend for any home or office!

Upon receiving this product I didn’t know the capability of it especially since it’s so compact. Let me say I was astonished. My 8 year old son helped me take it out on the box and set it up to start using (so yes it’s easy to unbox and set up and is lightweight). So my husband says I save way too many papers but in my defense- we may eventually need them for something right?! So I thought this would be perfect to declutter the
paper and get everything stored and organized.

It is to my amazement the speed of this scanner. It literally takes seconds and maybe not even that long. This also can scan the back of documents without having to take the paper out and feed again. Talk about a time saver. Another great feature - is the accuracy of the scan. Colors details everything. My little kids love helping load the scanner and find it funny how fast it goes. We’ve scanned documents, pictures, receipts, manuals etc and everything has worked superbly. There’s been no glitches nothing. It’s been extremely dependable and a life saver. Not to mention helped me declutter and not have to worry about keeping papers. I am so glad to have this in my life.
