The Battery Grip for Canon EOS 6D Mark II from Vello is a dedicated power supply that can hold up to two LP-E6 or LP-E6N Li-ion batteries, which doubles the camera's shooting time. Before attaching the rubber non-slip grip, the battery chamber cover of the camera can be safely stored away within the battery grip. With 2 fully charged batteries this should give you about 5 hours of open shutter time. This grip is excellent. I have the same brand for my 5D MKIII and never had an issue. A: Yes, we have. We purchased the Acratech plate for this grip and it is rock solid. We did call Acratech 1-909-392-7522 before purchasing to be sure we had the correct plate. They were great on the phone and I received the correct plate so fast.... Fabulous! and super rock solid!
