The Vienna Symphonic Library SYNCHRON-ized Dimension Brass II is a virtual instrument with a library that includes a completely remastered, reedited, and expanded version of the Vienna Dimension Brass II Full library's sample database. It accurately captures the muted and epic sounds of four brass ensembles, expertly performed by a well-rehearsed group of four brass players and enhanced with the outstanding signature ambience of Synchron Stage Vienna, one of the world's best-sounding scoring stages.

Four ensembles are presented, each with four players. The trumpet ensemble features four muted trumpets, while the horn ensemble features four muted French horns. The trombone ensemble features four muted trombones, and the Wagner tuba ensemble offers four Wagner tubas. The performances were multisampled with players recorded in groups, but with each instrument recorded, giving you individual access to each voice, while retaining a homogeneous ensemble sound.

The library offers a wide variety of articulations, providing you with even more variations, nuances, and possibilities of expression. The performance glissandos can be seamlessly combined with the legato performances. For an all-natural decay, medium sustained notes are available in six dynamic layers and are not looped. There are also long portatos of approximately one half of a second in length for filling the gaps between the short and long sustained notes.

SYNCHRON-ized Dimension Brass II is optimized for the included Vienna Synchron Player, a powerful, yet easy-to-use playback engine that enables you to make the most of these multidimensional samples. The Synchron Player offers various Humanize presets, which automatically add an adjustable amount of human imperfection to your arrangements. Combined with a convolution reverb featuring the unique ambience of Synchron Stage Vienna's main hall, the instrument naturally blends with any other product in the Synchron Series to give you authentic-sounding brass performances, right out of the box.

A: Canon makes EF Lenses that cover full frame and are fully compatible with the C500 MKII. The EF-S lenses only cover Super-35/crop sensor, therefore possibly vignetting.

A: According to Cinema5D, “Cinema RAW Light can be shot at 5.9K and 4K at up to 60 frames per second, and at 2K in up to 120 fps in a cropped mode, unfortunately. Once you switch to the XF-AVC codec in 10-bit 4:2:2, you can shoot 4K DCI, UHD, 2K and HD only, there’s no 5.9K option in this codec. (4K is delivered by 5.9K Oversample processing so no image crop applied). With XF-AVC you can also shoot up to 60 frames in 4K, and 120 frames in 2K and HD – but only cropped.”

Q: 5. What resolutions, frame rates, and codecs are supported in anamorphic shooting modes? Also, what is the sensor size it is sampling from in this mode?

A: According to Canon when shooting anamorphic the camera is still capturing a 17:9 or 16:9 aspect ratio (depending on the desired setting). The camera will output and display a “de-squeeze” for monitoring purposes. But, it always records a 17:9 or 16:9 aspect ratio (it doesn’t de-squeeze the recorded image). Like most other cameras, the user will have to de-squeeze the footage in post. But, again, you can monitor the image “de-squeezed” while recording.
