A: The Intellytech LiteCloth 2.0 LC-160 Foldable 2 x 2 LED Mat Kit (V-Mount) uses a passive silent cooling system. There is no fan noise.

A: The panels are fold able but they are not roll able like the Westcott or Aladdin.

A: Very good point Justin. It takes a few minutes to build if you use the soft box. I would say the most difficult part is when for the first time you attempt to put everything back in the carriage box. Tricky but after a while you learn how to do it.

Q: 7. What v-mount battery is recommended to power this light? And how long would the light run on such a battery?

A: I use a variety of vmount batteries to power my LC160s. I have 190w v mounts and fully charged it will power the light for roughly an hour.

Q: 8. Can they be rotated once attached to a stand?

A: Yes the double ball stand mount included with each Intellytech LiteCloth 2.0 LC-120 would allow for rotation once mounted on the light stand.

A: You can fold it down to 12x12" squares and the mat weights 2.3lbs.

A: I disagree... the Lc160 is silent and that alone makes it better. The outputs is marginally higher on the Amaran ...but my Lc160 has impressed and not disappointed me in any way...read the reviews.
